Possibly the worst after sales service I have ever experienced (it doesn’t exist) All they care about is the sale, after that, you are persona non grata!! Avoid, there are many companies out there doing the same thing who will actually value your business and want you to come back and buy from them again.

Ordered and Paid for a Power Station online. After a couple of days order still showed as Pending Payment, and all my emails have gone unanswered. Only after calling them, I was informed that there was a glitch in the system that my payment was not loaded correctly and that there was no longer stock available of the Item. They promised they would do a refund me, but I have not received my money back yet

Avoid. Like the plague. I ordered two DC splitter cables on 21 December 2022. Their site showed this was available, and that they were still open as a business. Having paid online, they ghosted me with their phone lines switched off, until 4 Jan when they resurfaced to say the cables were not available, and that they would refund. This refund is yet to happen as per today, and they don't respond to me anymore. Stay away, or as others say, be swindled.

I purchased batteries via a third party person around March. The batteries subsequently were not lasting even half an hour during loadshedding. The batteries were taken in to Sinetech on 1 December. The feedback we got was that there was no fault. I have yet to still have the batteries in my possesion. We folowed up with a return date and got no proper response. I called in myself 2 days ago and still waiting for Simon to get back to me. Christmas is approaching and the reason I invested in batteries was to mitigate no power not realising the batteries wont even last a year and the after sales service is so pathetic!. So I am not sure what happened to these batteries and would want to know where I stand because I am certainly not satisfied with this service or lack there of.

I shopped online for an inverter paid via EFTimmediately, only to discover that ‘the payment had not gone through on their side’ because of a system outage. I have been trying for two days to get them to phone me back with an update. Also heard they don’t have stock. Asked for a refund and have been ignored (like for an Eskom complaint) with no feedback.

Similar to a number of other reviewers, I have been very disappointed with the omnipower 12V Gel batteries from Sinetech. I purchased a set of 4 120Ah batteries to feed a good quality 48V inverter. They were only cycling during loadshedding (no PV pabels in my system). Initially the system would provide 6 hours of backup. However within 10 months (about 30 cycles max) the batteries were only able to last 1.5 hours. I made a warrentee claim with Sinetech, and after having to prove that i did not abuse the batteries they eventually replaced them, for which I was thankful. I also adjusted the inverter settings according to their recommendation. Now after 8 months the new batteries are again at very poor capacity. There is nothing wrong with my inverter, there is something wrong with these omnipower batteries.

I have purchased several AGM gel batteries from Sinetech based on the specifications for their omnipower range, in total 6 X OPR 120 AH, each time inside 12 months, the batteries have less than 20% capacity. on my 3rd warranty claim, supplying extensive data on my inverter configuration,(to spec) , to their recommended specification, they eventually agreed to warranty replace with 2 x OPR 240AH 12V. once again performance quickly starts deteriorating within lass than 100 cycles. 2 bouts of load shedding and these batteries have failed, less than 1 hour at 10A load and im at 70% DOD, when installed new with 20A load they reached 60% DOD in 6 Hours. 2 inverter upgrades and they claim inverters are damaging their batteries, I even supplied data showing a full discharge and bulk charge cycle showing all voltages and charging currents through the 3 stage AGM charging profile by both inverters, at no point was the profile out of spec. to summerise i have received better performance from AGM batteries at half the price point. they charge a premium for batteries claiming high life cycles yet perform dismally. I would think twice in investing in a product that from experience and cost do not perform as claimed, I will certainly move to lithium but will not invest in their range.

I've been defrauded by Sinetech. I had to pay for an off-grid solar system upfront. Three weeks later they installed a completely different system that does not work. I paid for 2 x 275w solar panels, and they installed 2 x 200w panels. The system is faulty and does not work. They ignore my calls and do not respond to emails. I have been defrauded!
