What can I say. Vodacom is holding me hostage on my mobile contracts I initiated an early cancellation in November 2024. I paid the penalties, submitted the required documentation, and yet—nothing happened. Every time I called, there was no record of my request. I sent the information again in early January 2025—still nothing. Resent it mid-January 2025, waited a month, called again, and spoke to Bianca, who told me to send the documents to her manager, virashni.govender@ignitiongroup.co.za, on February 4. Once again, nothing happened. On February 17, I went to the Irene Mall Vodacom store, where a helpful consultant assisted me in calling the cancellations department and resending the information while they were on the line. Fast forward to March 10—I visited the same store and spoke to another agent. Guess what? My request still wasn’t captured. I had to call the call center yet again, this time speaking to Gubashnee, who told me to send the documents to manogarie.moodley@ignitiongroup.co.za. I’ve done that now, but will it make a difference? I doubt it. Vodacom’s complete lack of action has already cost me significant money and frustration. Would I recommend Vodacom? Not a chance.
Vodacom is really a ****ming business. In October I called to cancel my acc with Vodacom, and was told by the Agent if I cancel I need to pay a penalty fee. The reason being that in 2023 I agreed on a new contract, no device, sim only. I said that it is not correct, In 2023 when I spoke to the agent, I did not want to upgrade or renew into a fixed contract. I specifically confirmed with the agent that I can cancel any time, since there is no device, and that there is no penalties applicable, just 30 day notice. I was told that I need to make a R 517.83 deposit + my following month payment, for me to move to prepaid I fail to understand the penalty fees being app**** now, Vodacom seems to employ people that is just there for the sales, and tells you anything, even lie, to get a sale through. My call in Oct 2023 was escalated, no feedback received, and today another escalation, probably also going nowhere fast. In the end I will probably just have to pay the penalty. My query was again escalated and will disappear like all before I will remove all my services from Vodacom, since they are not for Customers, just for themselves Vodacom, Remove my numbers from your calling lists. I will now change you for every sales call you make to me.
Yesterday my DSTV started acting up Called the call centre for support, but need to take my decoder to the walkin centre OK, was told that there is a walk in center in Centurion mall, but the agent could not confirm which floor Today, took n hour of work (No Pay) as these office are only operating up to 17h00 Got to Centurion mall, and search, They freaking closed in 2018, WHAT THE HELL So called the call centre again, and held on with an agent putting me on hold for 20min to find a walk in centre, had to drop the call as I think I was forgotten and called again and was told the nearest centre is in Randburg, I said can not be, there must be one in pretoria, so being place on hold, 20min later I again dropped off So the loss here is 1 hour pay, driving to centurion and 40min of calls and to top all, the quality of the callcentre system are bad, can hardly hear the person I think it time to move to a streaming service
Was so happy with the 1st response, but it seems my query again disappeared into a black hole And again I am requested to pay an invoice This service does not seems to be working and just want to collect my money If not resolved today, all I can say is good bye and good riddens My problem persisted for months, cannot use the service, do not do as I request Lost my site, asked for a backup to be restored Why would smartweb do it, I am paying and complaining Stop this nonsence of support via a tickets remove the functionality, because you dont act on the freeking tickets, dont even respond Look at my previous tickets, sometime more that a month goes buy I should sue you for potentiol loss of income SORT THIS OUT TODAY Why do I send the mail to abuse@smartweb.co.za I feel abused by Smartweb, for the nonsupport and their contact info is like searching for chicken teeth
My son with a metal illness was nagged to sign up for a Gym Contract. He was in Matric, No income, just turned 18, He now started studying, and no facilities nearby, and cannot pay the fees, and the cancellation fees is high I went to the Centurion Gate Store, Spoke to the manager, i Think it Craig, for assistance very eager to help, when I was there, but now 2 week, calling, always in a meeting, never available, leaving message, don't call back, seems me to visit him personally again, I am saddened to the feedback
Well, the biggest disappointment in a long time, Priority mean to them move it out with as long as possible, It is now 3 week that I am battling to get my ONT installed and getting connected. I have spoken to the about every day, and been advise my installation is escalated, emails are send. I am guessing this info is just to inform me, but nothing is truly happening. If there was another provide available, I would do that immediately. So if no installation by End of Day, I will stick to my current WIFI service and wait till someone provide a service. I am of a view that the people their is not doing the process actively
During the past 2 year, I have logged several Calls for assistance on poor signals in Selcourt, Springs. Every time after a few days, the call is closed, No change in Service, No feedback on the case, just closing it. Cannot cancel due to the contract we have, Multiple contracts It has become such an issue, that it might be worth to take the knock and move to alternative service provider anyway. All of the accounts for the business will be moved due to their non commitment to resolve This is pathetic service So if you stay in this areas, be aware and go for another provide before falling in the same trap
The Pierre van Ryneveld Post Office has entered it 6th week with no power. They cannot complete any transaction that requires their POS
