I have been unable to reach MTN on their customer care number 083135, it just reroutes the call to the Unisa advert each time. I have emailed the customer care email, I have send an enquire online and no one has contacted me back. I have been triple debited for the month of August, no explanation. I want my money back and a reason why this has happened. Someone please contact me!
I received an SMS stating I owe you R1810.58. I don’t have a Vodacom contract. I have contacted you previously regarding this and reported this as fraud. It seems nothing has happened and someone has been enjoying a nice contract phone on my name. I am trying to phone your customer service number just to stay on hold for over 15mins and get cut off. There is no fraud contact number either. I want this sorted out now.
I signed a data contract with MTN for a wifi modem. The advert and the contract specifies that it will only cost me R239 a month. Excluding all the problems I have experienced getting this modem and being debited for something I didn't have. Taking a month to be delivered and the cell nr being deactivated and struggling to get the sim card activated. I am now having an issue where I am being charged different amounts each month. In June I got charge R264.87 ( this has been refunded), July I got charged R432.36. This was explained to me to be "prorata data". I was then promised I will be charged the correct amount from this day on. To my surprise this morning here I get charged R311.71. MTN I want an explanation, why aren't you following a legal contract? I did not budget for an amount to come off my account as a surprise every month. I have had cellphone contracts in the past and I was charged the same amount each month.
I received an email yesterday saying I have placed an online order and a credit vetting will take place and i will be contacted. I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM TELKOM, NEITHER DO I HAVE ANY EXISTING CONTRACTS WITH THEM. I phoned them this morning, eventually pressing random options to speak to a consultant, after speaking to 5 people being told to phone different contact nrs each time, I got told that it is the online department problem and they will contact you. WHAT! so my details are being used to process false orders online and that is your response.... I phoned the crime line, where you report stolen lines and got told that 6 people have phoned in already about the same problem, this was at 8.30 in the morning. I have just received another email, where someone has requested a call bac****! The email even says my first name and not "customer" THIS NEEDS TO BE SORTED OUT!!!!!
