So I purchased these AMC classic pots on lay-by when I was 15 and working as a waitress. Now cooking with them has been bliss. I mean really it has been a lifetime (30 years ) and decided i would send them in for their free polish and to have handles repaired. Much to my dismay, I received a bill of nearly R4000 to polish up the pots. It was just, fix the one handle and send my pots back, they argued their lifetime warranty with all sorts of new terms and conditions. I paid R144 for the repair of the one pots handle, the other pot was discontinued so they could not help me.and the egg poachers had the same problem. Nevertheless in the chaos they accidentally polished my pots, which they then wanted me to pay close to R2000 to replace all the handles and lids, which went in for polishing, please note, there were only 2 damaged hqndles and all the temperature gauge lids were in working order. After countless, 4 weeks back and forth, I just demanded they send my pots back. They refused to replace the temperature gauges in the original condition, so I had to accept the plain knobs. AMC Classic cookware I think you could do better than this!
DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE I have been struggling for 2-3 years to get out of a contract. They have fine print which allow them to auto renew the contract ( no signature required) for an additional 12 months, if you do not cancel on time. Even when you do send the cancellation letter, they will still continue to bully you into an even longer period. Its ridiculous. I am in endless emails and calls and its very frustrating. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!
absolutely shocking service Taken 3 weeks just to get a quote. They don't respond to emails
The agent was helpful and thorough and she stuck to our appointment times. She made sure I saved money.

WE LEFT A PROPERTY SEVERAL YEARS BACK. My husband was ill and because they were threatening him, he started paying them for what they said was outstanding!! He did not check the account. We had paid a deposit of R1400 We were forced to move mid May 2016. The house was sold to new owners. We were tenants in the house. When we left, we owed them R1237.66 less the deposit, they owed us: R162.34 My husband ended up paying them R250.00 a month for several months amounting to around R2000.00). He was ill and under serious work pressure and had a stroke shortly after this. He did not know what he had done here. They are still hounding me, with emails, and sms'for money they owe us. I have tried getting the money back, but the people who work at impact meters do not understand. And just send a statements, from their collection agency and themselves. Nothing co-insides. Its just paper. I am extremely frustrated with the process and with dealing with them.
