I talked with a gentleman, Moosa - who was extremely patient and understanding. I ended up opting to change to Outsurance based on the service as well as the lower price. Was also great that we could talk on a saturday.
I ordered barstools instead of kitchen counter stools and I have been unable to return them for the correct ones. They say it’s because they are assembled despite it being their staff that assembled them. This is the only furniture store I have bought from where they will not let you swap goods for something else if you are not happy. They do not have any customer service and definitely do not care for repeat business - very short sighted.
I had an outstanding amount of R1762 due to a doctor - monies which the medical aid did not cover. Sadly, I had changed my mobile number and only became aware of the amount due when this law firm sent me a letter of demand. I made an arrangement with the law firm to pay the amount off at R500 a month. To date I have paid R3000 and still owe R1461 due to them charging me every month for reminders R150 (despite my payments being made on the date as pre-arranged) interest and commission. They also charge a commission fee on top of the capital amount, interest and commission already charged..... Upon querying the charge for the reminders, I was advised that unless clients advise the firm that they do not want to receive reminders - this would be charged. This is deliberately misleading and not really questioned as you would not expect to receive a reminder unless you have defaulted on their payment arrangement. It was never questioned by me, as I knew I had paid on time and did not think for a minute I was actually being for charged for this despite the reminder being sent after I had paid my monthly amount and also sent proof of payment via email to the firm. Is this not ********* behaviour besides being daylight ******* and demonstrating pure greed and taking advantage of people in unfortunate circumstances. This matter has also being reported to The Legal Practise Council.
I made a booking with this company. When I arrive at what was supposed to be an exclusive upmarket accommodation, the place was horrific. I contacted the owner for a refund as I could not stay there. I also contacted booking.com who said I should take photos which I did, however there is no email address to send them too or to complain too
I rented a car from Hertz for a month. I returned it on 1 November (for convenience as it was a holiday) instead of 3 November and was charged nearly R5000 for returning it early. No one tried to highlight this to me. Clearly they are not worried about losing customers when there is hardly any tourism. Shocking!!
