LEGAL DEPARTMENT - AWFUL EXPERIENCE My husband passed away end January 2018, contacted Vodacom legal department this week to get advice as my number is on his contract. Gave Rearibitso ? iin legal dept his cell number as the main acc, before I could even say why I was phoning she demanded in an extremely rude manner that she wanted to speak to the owner of the contract, I was in tears. How insensitive and rude, what did she assume. I wanted to find out what I needed to do and also to take over the contract. At 16h30 that same afternoon my cellphone was CUT OFF and I received a message to say that as contact owner was deceased I cannot make use of my cell number. I had just paid the account for my husbands contract a few days before. If I knew how badly I would be treated would not have made the payment. What an upsetting experience, I need my phone most during this awful time. I now have to buy a PAY AS YOU GO and lose my own number that I have had for years.
Arrived at Flora trauma unit with my husband at 4 am Tuesday 23 rd he was admitted by Dr. By 11h30 still no bed available 7.5 hours and still waiting as I send this? If the hospital is so full why not send us elsewhere where he could be accommodated. For a private hospital at huge cost to our medical aid, to lie in a cubicle for this length of time is totally unacceptable. Would not recommend using Flora Hospital, rather opt for Weltevreden Hospital which is the next closest.
Went in to Vodacom Cresta June 2017 for upgrade and new Samsung phone - requested Smart S package on a particular number, this was not done - eventually rectified in July however another number we have which is supposed to be data only IS ALSO NOW A SMART S PACKAGE which is not being used but billed every month. Have visited endless times to see both Morne who keeps saying he will sort out as well as the Manager Voghan who just passes back to Morne. they do not seem to have any authority to rectify Morne's initial error which is being charged monthly for something we don't have. Exasperated shocking service at a HUGE COST TO OURSELVES.
Was assisted by Gertrude with a script not from my regular doctor who was not sure what my regular dosage was for a particular medication. Nothing was too much trouble for Gertrude who offered to phone the Dr who was away at the time. She took my cell number and contacted me as promised after she had arranged for the script to be changed by the Dr. concerned and arranged for the medication to be available at collections. Thank you Gertrude your attitude can only be an asset to Dis-Chem
