I bought an on the triple pizza combo and asked that 1 ne double stacked. When I got home, I was looking forward to an amazing taste but was hugely disappointed. The pizza was not the quality I'd associate with Debonairs, The 2 pizzas tasted stale and as if old sauces were used, the double stack pizza lacked cream cheese spread and also had a stale taste. I'd bought this for my family who was extremely hungry and I wasn't in the mood to drive to the store again and debate with the store manager. Debonair, please check on what kind of quality of food your stores outlay, as this meal was pathetic, especially having paid more than R300 for it
So my family & I visited the Panarottis in Musgrave Mall today. We got to the door and there was no host, stood around for a while and nobody arrived. Eventually, we walked in and the manager who was seated on a table noticed us. She didn't get up to acknowledge us, instead a waiter came to us and we requested a table that could accommodate a pram. We found an nice seat, and waited for the waiter to clean the table which was filthy. After she wiped the table, she left a desert menu on the table talker and left, without even a hello. After 5min of nobody coming to my table I flagged a waiter down (Spah) and she gave me menu's after asking. I never saw anyone until I managed to flag down another waiter (Sboh) and asked her why we weren't getting service. Her answer was that they had just come from a busy rush and they had only 2 waiters. Anyway, I placed my order and asked that the meals come with the drinks, 20min later, my pizza arrives, so cold, like it came from the cold room. I immediately sent it back, and asked that they please give me a hot pizza. Another 10min and the food arrives again, warm to the touch, and by this time I'm fed up and want to leave. However, we are all hungry, so we just eat. While this is happening, I notice my drinks sitting on the bar counter waiting for a while, they then deliver the flat kola tonic & lemonade to me. I refused to accept this and asked that they change it, to which they did. To this point, no manager came to my table to check on me, or to enquire about my experience. After eating I eventually found a manager and asked him why the service was so pathetic, he eventually told me that the hot pass wasn't working, hence the cold pizza. I told the manager of my experience and how shocked I was that a big brand would provide such appalling service. He advised that he's sorry and would better my experience the next time, I said that I will not be returning to this store and will be posting a review about this store. He responded with "sorry, and ok" then left. Panarottis Pizza, this store is the epitome of poor service.
I purchased a veg pita with halloumi cheese for my partner. After dropping it of at her work she sent me a picture of the rather small amount of halloumi in the meal. The next day I went back to the store in Musgrave Centre to complain to the management who advised that "halloumi is expensive that's why they don't put alot", he asked his staff to portion out the amount they use in the pita and show me, when I saw the portion it seemed much more than what was served to me. I questioned this and the management response was that "it shrinks while cooking". I didnt eat the pita but my partner has eaten it in many other branches and has never experienced having recieved so little halloumi in her meal.
I purchased a hot chocolate from the Mugg & Bean in Musgrave center, paid almost R40 for the drink and it tasted like water and chocolate flavouring. I went back to the store to complain and asked for a refund, they made me another drink. I once again said I want a refund and only then did they give me my money. One would expect more from a reputable brand like this...
Bought a big jack mutton curry pie, only to find pieces of soya in the filling.
