I made my first purchase from Digital Life SA. (dlifesa.com) (Trading as Digital Live Investments (PTY) Ltd). Like all of you, as soon as a company has the word "Investments" in their company name, alarm bells go off. I did my due diligence and researched the company and director(s), CIPC registration, SARS declarations, contact information, physical address of business (and residential address of directors all validated. I cross referenced all online presence over the years across multiple platforms, social media, middle-man resellers (like bid-or-buy/ BobShop) both as a company and the director(s) themselves. I was able to cross reference enough information to validate the legitimacy of the company, director(s) and reviews. I am incredibly pleased with the level of communication and customer care: Pre-order - My questions were answered with professionalism and to the point (not in the same way a ****mer would address a customer). I didn't inform the company when I placed the order, I was really sceptical at first, if I had just been ****med, but trusted my background research was comprehensive to be legitimate. On placing the order (Sunday), I received an email from shopify with confirmation. The next (Monday) day I received an email from the company (Digital Life SA) that the order was being processed for collction. On following day (Tuesday) I received multiple emails from the courier that the parcel had been collected, was being processed for despatch, the processing warehouse, location of the parcel as it's being processed etc... On Wednesday I received an email from Digital Life SA to expect delivery, I also received an SMS and phone call from the courier that the parcel was about to be delivered. This whole time, there were emails from the courier (suppor*****ernetexpress.co.za) providing updates. as well as from Digital Life SA just checking I'm receiving the courier emails and letting me know they also monitoring the delivery. After the parcel was received, I received a follow up email from Digital Life SA (on Wednesday). Checking that I did actually receive the parcel and asking if I'm happy with the service or if I experienced any issues. I must honestly say, I will definitely order all IoT devices from Digital Life SA (Digital Life Investments (Pty) Ltd) going forwards. This was the most stress free online purchase I've had in years from a new online reseller (old in terms of the company presence, but new for me!). Special thanks to Ashlen Naidoo for your professional conduct. Looking forward to bying more IoT and batteries etc, whatever your stock and what I neeed!!! over the coming months and years.
I reduced the size of my pool from 10x5m to 3x5m. I approached North Side Pool Services, as despite lower than average online reviews, the reviews via word of mouth within my community are all positive. Quoted duration: 12 days Actual duration: 28 days Days charged for Labour: 12 days Start Date: 2024-11-19 End Date: 2024-12-24 Cameron and his team of about 4 staff (including Nkosi, Hastings & Price) + 6 contractors did a really good job. I agree with some of the comments, The quote and time frame is a bit too ambitious initially. But this will always be the case in the construction industry. You need to consider this with any contractor, unless they over quote to consider potential unlikely challenges and delays and rake in the profits if the potential challenges and delays do not manifest. Cameron and his team were flexible and accommodated the unforeseen challenges and changes. At times North Side Pool Service was running at a loss, and at other times we negotiated a compromise, to achieve our mutual goals. I am extremely impressed that despite all challenges, delays, and shortfalls. Cameron and his team took on the responsibility and cost themselves, not leaving the issues up the me to resolve. Communication is good, and you do need to be involved. I do recommend you as the customer carefully plan the job before hand. Don't rush it and try cover all challenges and changes ahead of implementation. In any industry consider that challenges and changes = delays, but result in a better end product. North Side Pool Service never charged us for the delays (Cameron absorbed the additional labour cost). Planning is everything. So when contractors are involved, it's a joint responsibility to ensure everything goes according to plan. Always plan the renovations when yourself or someone in your household is present to supervise and ensure your level of expectations are being met. And budget on the job taking two to three times longer than expected. We followed these principals and we are very please with the end result. I am most impressed with work ethic, (even if quality of workmanship from contractors might be below expectations), phone or WhatsApp North Side Pool Services before the issue escalates, Cameron and his team do go to extra lengths to rectify any mistakes and they do their best to meet your expectations.
I order 5 dishes a week, (2 x frozen + 3 fresh : 26 meals so). I have never been disappointed, now I hardly ever order take away. The recopies and instructions are simple, clear and detailed. Images are a true reflection of the end product. Fresh meal packs are larger portions than the frozen, but also more expensive - so it works out. Ingredients are higher quality than those you find at the leading retail outlets. If the meal says prepare with in x days (this guide is to optimise freshness), the ingredients are still perfectly fresh double the amounts of days later (as I often receive delivery on Monday and only cook 2 of the meals on the weekend). I've also been in touch with uCook, when a payment failed and they are very pro-active to get your issue resolved and the meal out to you in time. Lastly, I do log on and customise my order (before Tuesday, to be delivered on the following Monday). As I don't know if there is a way to exclude a certain meal type (e.g. fish)
I'm the type of person who only eats, coz I'm so hungry I have to, so food and cooking is the last priority in my life. Since I switch from fast food to UCook, I don't have the fear of wasting food & the produce is such a high quality, and tastes so much better than any fast food I've ever bought. The recipes are fool proof, thank you for maintaining your standards.
Futurama is a honest company. From my first interaction with Futurama I was pleasantly surprised that they are quick to respond. I have had email responses from more than one staff member while I enquired about different products. When I placed my order, I received correspondence from Futurama, the courier (Colliery) and received the item within the expected time. The item was shipped from CPT to JHB within 3 days. Futurama is a legitimate company and I would recommend them. Before you make payment just confirm struck via email (as Futurama does recommend on the purchase order), they will respond within 1 or 2 days to confirm stock is available and reserved for your order. Booked tickets in the wrong time slot by accident.<br> Phoned and Ryan, the manager, answered within 2 rings.<br> I explained that we bought the wrong time slot.<br> He said he'd do a refund.<br> He said he'd call back.<br> <br> Ryan phoned back within 5 minutes.<br> Within less than a minute, the tickets were refunded and Ryan also booked the correct tickets for us while on the phone.<br> <br> Very happy with the service.<br> I did not expect to get good service.<br> And I didn't know whether an exchange would even be possible.<br> Especially to be done conveniently over the phone.<br> <br> Ryan is very professional and a pleasure to deal with.<br> <br> Regard<br> Tim
