Firstly, the food was AMAZING! Compliments to the resident Chef. Went for work, had a really comfortable, relaxing stay. The staff are all very friendly, professional and very helpful. I look forward to returning as a private visitor.
This is our family's go to for a relaxing day out in the beautiful Winelands. The food is delicious, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the reptile experts really know their stuff and give a great educational, entertaining tour (each time). A great place to spend either on a romantic date or a family day out.
I always enjoy shopping at FirstShop. Great customer service, efficient delivery and always good prices for good quality products.
I wish I could rate them a "0".(Moved in Dec 2021, Moved out Sept 2022) This was hands down our family's worst living experience EVER. Do yourself a favour and scroll pass these adverts - the low price is not worth it. Move-in process went smoothly as sales agents, property management and security were very friendly. It basically stopped at move-in as we mostly had a bad experience living in Forest Mews for 9 months. - There was exactly 1 slide with 1 swing for all the children in the complex, which was replaced with a mid-sized jungle gym in August 2022 (plus walkways and 4 braaispots for every 2 to 3 buildings); - Entry inspection report listed everything in the apartment being in "good order/condition", yet when moving out Property Manager added a few items on renovations quotation. (We were not informed of these at Exit, meaning we thought we left it as it was found - in "good order"). We were basically told we broke some stuff, which was untrue, and now need to pay these (???). Especially since these "damages" were not mentioned during the Exit inspection (meaning the property manager added these without our knowledge while we were discussing required renovations); - Even though you're told you will get your deposit, chances are YOU WILL NOT, YOU WILL BE CHARGED EVEN MORE FOR "RENOVATIONS AFTER EXIT", as in our case. The renovations bill came to almost double our deposit (because of added renovations that we were not informed of at Exiting); - If you do choose to stay, do yourself a favour and repaint the unit before you Exit, because the bill for repainting alone is bound to be much more than your deposit amount anyways, so you will be billed a further amount (additional to your deposit); - Service delivery was HELL: our building experienced more than regular power outages (in addition to loadshedding), as well as tenants having to struggle with managing our electricity and water services (this was messed up from start to finish); - Property Manager's answer to all queries was that we "sort this out directly with service providers" as he (and IHSPM) was unable to assist with any service issues.
