Don't get fooled by the immediate AI response to this review - The Managers and owners of Renew-it really do not care. Took my daughters car to Renew-it Rivonia on the recommendation of Old Mutual. Minor damage... Continual delays now I understand why! Got to collect the car on appointment to find the car almost destroyed by hail. They had already effected some repairs to try make it roadworthy. Demanded my excess payment for repairs that are actually useless given the cars current state. So we get to the car and the tyre is flat and the car will not start as they have damaged the battery too. No Manager will talk to you - they won't comedown from their offices or take your call. Renew it Head office is just the same!!! They in a meeting, they in the workshop, they on a conference call , you name it every excuse in the book...
Unfortunately Zero stars not an option: DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM. NO PREMIUM SAVING IS WORTH NOT BEING PAID OUT. I paid premium for 3 years only to have claim rejected through small print something about claim risk exceeding 10% which they determine no surprise it exceeded 10% when they set it.
Got my order wrong then tried to argue with me. Won't be going back...
eNatis online booking is a very efficient system for extracting bribes from desperate exhausted otherwise law abiding citizens. eNatis has been put there to frustrate you until you in desperation take the inevitable step and find the intermediary/facilitator connected to the official and pay the “facilitation fee” just to get a simple booking slot… If eNatis was implemented to improve booking or prevent bribes it has failed dismally. And has now become the ultimate tool for corruption…

I had an emergency in Xmas holidays, everywhere was closed had limited stock were reluctant to go the extra mile to source a door. I had always heard Van Acht was expensive so they were my last call. I was to say pleasantly surprised would be an understatement…. They were cheaper, had stock, were helpful, and despite having telephone lines stolen gave me great service. If you are in the market for Wooden doors or windows they should be your first stop. Great showroom too. Sounds like I’m their marketing guy lol…
Suddenly done away with the Combination Ticket... No warning no notice, just gone. One day there next day gone. There should be a discount for doing both... Phoned info centre they said they would phone back but not holding my breath, get the feeling this one is to difficult to explain so easier to ignore. "Rip-off" comes to mind...
Again if I could give zero stars I would.... "Robyn" - if you hear her name cancel your application immediately and run. They tell me my area is not covered by vumatel, vumatel can give me full details of my line... and I have the ONT in my house from the previous occupant... Somehow they cannot enter my address into maps and get the right answer, even-though my application has longitude and latitude cordinates... wasted two weeks waiting for a connection that was not going to happen.
We have been struggling with Mweb for 4 months now. We migrated our fibre from another service provider to Mweb, the other service provider had a notice period so we gave them a date in the future to install. They arrived early to install the router but Technician said "all was good don't worry migration will happen on the right date". Unfortunately, billing started immediately but the migration did not. In fact, the migration has still not happened 4 months later. The old Service Provider is still providing the service and billing (another argument but at least we have fibre). Mweb keep trying to debit our accounts for services they have never provided and are now threatening ridiculous cancelation changes and arrears for a contract they never started. You cannot phone anyone who can resolve anything, last call I had was to a consultant either chewing gum heavily or eating her breakfast while on my call. Very unprofessional. And ended with a very unconvincing – “I will refer to the back office to investigate”… We just want to go somewhere else Mweb obviously have no clue….
