On a flight from Cape Town to JHB, the luggage attendants badly damaged a suitcase, we might as well throw it in the rubbish bin. I send them an inquiry, but awaiting a response. I feel it is unnecessary that they handle the luggage as they do and their should be repercussions and that Kulula should at least accept responsibility by replacing the luggage.
My husband requested Iemas to pay out a refund of dividends, accumulated over a number of years. He signed an accelerated payment request, with the understanding that Iemas takes a 9% admin fee, for accelerating the payment. He also terminated his membership with them. The communication started on 30 December and the forms were submitted to them on 15 January 2020. The accelerated request form was unfortunately not signed by him, but nobody informed, the promised payment at the end of January instead, knowingly, the form was not signed. I the meantime I made contact with a lady that helped me last year to get my refund. She informed me on the 5th of Feb. of the unsigned form. Which was send to her immediately. Until today, he only received empty promises and was told this morning that payment was effected on 11 February, but it is not in the bank. I asked for proof of payment and until now, NO response.
I noticed an amount of R429.00 being attempted to be deducted from my bank account. I fortunately keep my day to day balance low, by sweeping my balance to my savings account. Upon investigation and calling the no. appearing on my bank, I was told by the service desk that the amount is from Loan Scout. WHO THE HELL ARE THEY, I asked myself. Never had dealings with them and most certainly will not have any. This seems like the latest scam of people/companies trying to steel one's money. Be warned Loan Scout, if it accidentally happens that this debit goes off my account, it WILL be reversed and stopped.
On 16 November 2017 I logged a self help call via Telkom's customer call line 10210, I received reference no. 93CTK161117 via text message as confirmation. On 20 November I received a text stating that my report was restored? I called 10210 again and this time spoke to a Consultant and explained that the lighting hit our Telkom line and that everything from my internet to the telephone was dead. He then logged another call no. 277CTK201117. On 23 and 26 November respectively, I received text messages that Telkom is still busy investigating the cause of the problem. Yesterday, 27 November, I called the 10210 no. again and was informed by the Consultant that the Technician will visit my house today by 14:00 to attend to the fault and that I should have someone on standby at my house. It is now 15:15 and no Technician has even attempt to call or pitch. If the router and the telephone instrument were hit by the lighting and by the way, I can proof this because the brick wall in front of my house, opposite the room where the router and telephone is, is just as badly damaged, I accept that Telkom is not liable to replace it, but I am not a Telkom Technician and can most definitely NOT test their lines and or fix it.

Telkom's telephone customer service is as worse than going into one of their service shops. The service shops are to my experience more off line than on line and calling the 10210 no. is even as bad. You speak to one person, act on what you are told, call back 10 minutes later and then obviously speak to a different operator with a different answer. I've simply have had it with the hideous service of companies in this corrupt country.

In June 2014, my daughter in her 3rd year at Varsity, verbally cancelled her Virgin Active subscription at the Vanderbijlpark Gym. Reason being that her pocket money could not cover the subscription fees and the debit order kept being returned by the bank, resulting in additional bank charges.

We told them that I, her mother, is the only breadwinner and we simply couldn't afford any luxuries. They never attempted to debit her account again after that and she NEVER used the equipment at the gym again.

However, yesterday she receives a letter from their attorneys, demanding immediate payment or else they will institute legal action. I would like to see how they are going to recover the outstanding balance, additional legal fees and interest from a 4th year student.

It is time that people should report these type of issues on a more regular basis, because people are being threatened by letters from attorneys. Quiet frankly, I think lawyers taking business like this should be banned.
