Will never use again after a friend of mine purchased an iPad which proved to be a ****** item! No support or apology from Takealot. Turns out they purchased the item from a ***** dealer. Owner had the item confiscated with no recourse or refund.
I had a problem while hiring a vehicle in France. Economy Bookings did not respond to my numerous emails, and offered absolutely no assistance whatsoever. Rather book direct, and avoid dealing with this useless company.
This is a very special place tucked away in the foothills of the Cape Fold Mountains near Gansbaai. A truly unique experience, and everything one would expect from a five star resort - plenty of highly attentive, well trained staff, wonderful facilities and accommodation, immersed in beautiful natural surroundings, and, most importantly, a property that is being run, maintained and improved in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner, with a strong ethos of giving back to the community in which it exists. For a purely hedonistic experience, this is perfect, but there is a greater mission here. Unfortunately only for the well-heeled, nevertheless I can not recommend the Grootbos experience enough for those who seek an exclusive and exemplary experience. The Florilegium is without compare in this country.
Hopeless lack of service from this office.
I ordered 24 roses for my wife, which were delivered on time. However, they were not delivered in water, and this was after midday on a warm day. By the next day, half the flower heads were drooping, and on the 4th day they were well on their way to becoming compost. Numerous emails and calls resulted in the following response, which is written in something resembling English, but only just. I cannot believe the total lack of care or responsibility from Netflorist - I will certainly never use their service again. No offer of replacing item; no offer to refund! Unbelievable!! Good Day Mr Sampson I Hope this Email finds you well. On receiving your email I did forward and communicate with the relevant Department on the matter. It is unfortunate that with the Terms and Conditions of our products and in this case, one that was assigned to External florist who are unable to do second delivery to any damages as they do and Guarantee Quality Checks on orders going out to delivery. In this matter it would be an extra Cost on your part for the handling fee and delivery fee as the service was already rendered by Florist. Please do accept our Sincere Apologies for any inconvenience it might have caused.
This business is owned/run by Attie Voges, and should be avoided. There are other suppliers of the same products operating in the area. Attie is evasive, terrible at returning calls or answering queries, arrogant, aggressive, confrontational and a master at obfuscation. In short, very unpleasant to deal with. Save yourself aggravation; look elsewhere for fireplaces and shutters!
I have been using Boss Auto Clinic for my out of warranty vehicles for many years now. In my experience, it is rare to find a vehicle repair shop that you can trust. In all of my dealings with Max, I have never felt that there was overservicing, or anything other than straight and honest dealings, and he will often go above and beyond what may be considered normal service. I highly recommend this vehicle repairer.
The fact that my 2 star rating (poor) actually raises the average rating for Takealot actually just proves my point! I purchased an oven for R17499, and it has taken more than a month of frustration to get my money back. Details aside, just be aware that should you have any problem with a Takealot order, the only access you have is via email, website or call centre. Emails get answered by a different person each time, and each one doesn't understand the problem from before. Call centre agents have very little impact, and you can't speak to a supervisor. Website is of little help - if there is no progress on your return/refund for a week or two or more, there is no way of escalating your problem. In short, when Takealot works, it works well, but if you develop a problem, you are in for hours and hours of frustration and anxiety. Stay away from Takealot for big ticket items that you can't afford to be without.
Called Samsung for a service call for a washing machine 5 days ago. No word from this agent. Called MM yesterday- they promised a return call in 10 minutes; still waiting the next day.... Terrible service
If you would like to experience shocking service, wait on hold for at least 20 minutes every time you have the slightest query, experience frequent interruptions of service which can take 4 or 5 HOURS hanging on the phone to sort out, and be misled by advertising, then this is just the provider you are looking for! If you want decent service however, STAY AWAY FROM WEBAFRICA!! I have had the service for 6 months in Cape Town, and chose this service because there was no cancellation fee after 6 months - now that I have cancelled after 7 months, they are still claiming R1725 "installation clawback". The service has been interrupted at least 4 times in 6 months, and the process to rectify a fault is horrifically slow. TERRIBLE call centre - I have not waited less than 15-20 minutes just to have a call answered. Emails they say they will respond to "usually within 48 hours" - I have waited 2 weeks for a response to my last email, and I'm still waiting.... Anyway, how is 48 hours even NEARLY a fast enough reaction time when your internet service has gone down????!!! Even the speed you pay for is not consistently provided. Good luck to you if you claim a refund for days without service - your time is more valuable than dealing with these clowns... This is a terrible company - worse service even than Telkom - AVOID THIS PROVIDER LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
