I emailed ReboundSA with a query regarding one of their products. I'm yet to receive a response. I ended up buy a rebounder from Lisa Raleigh and couldn't be happier with the product and the service I received . ReboundSA really needs to get their act together and do something about their service.
Creative Housewares Don’t even think about buying from this company!!! I wanted to get a pedestal fan and I remembered visiting an acquaintance who had a digital Taurus Fan and I was quite impressed with it. I found the website for Taurus appliances and the fan I was wanting and when I clicked to purchase the fan it opened a link to Creative Housewares. I purchased the fan by debit card. I then got an email from Creative Housewares that the order would be shipped once payment had been received. This set off alarm bells cause when you pay by debit card, the amount is taken off immediately. I never received any communication and 2 days later I sent them a message via the Contact form on their website. And I did receive a phone call. It took a week to get the fan (I’ve had faster delivery from China) I unpacked the fan and discovered that on the head of the fan, there is a plastic part that the fan blade sits on. Well part of the plastic part is cracked. I sent a message via the Contact form on their website. I got a reply that I must contact I must contact the online store that I purchased from. There are Creative Housewares branches in Jhb, Cape Town, Durban. Nowhere on the invoice does it state which branch the fan was sent from. I phoned my nearest branch which is Durban. The first operator I spoke to, kept interrupting me and repeatedly asked me the same questions. When I asked her to listen to what I was saying. She put the phone down on me. When I got through to another person, he told me that I would need to return the to their Durban office. I told him it was completely unacceptable that I have to return a damaged item to them. I don’t live anywhere near their Office and I work and do not have the time. I did not purchase the item in store, I purchased it online. Any reputable company would collect a damaged product from you and not expect you to go to them. And then he told me I would have to take it up with the Head Office. In my haste to buy the fan, I did not check reviews for Creative Housewares. There are numerous complaints about them on Hello Peter. If I had seen that beforehand I never would have purchased from this Company. I am writing this in the hope that other people will not make a very expensive mistake like I did.
I bought Chicken spring rolls from Woolworths. The quality was terrible. The spring rolls has virtually no chicken in them and hardly any veg. I reviewed them and gave them 1 star, explaining the issue. The review was published and then taken down. I wrote another review and got a reply, they couldn't publish the review. Woolworth doesn't allow any reviews criticizing their products. So you will never read honest reviews of their product.
I recently purchased 2 stun guns from Futurama. I received the items very promptly and I am happy with my purchase. I can highly recommend purchasing from Futurama
This is the worst internet service provider I have every used. I cancelled the day after I got the sim. The connection constantly disconnects and reconnects and even when I had a connection I was getting speeds of under 1mbps. Over two weeks later and I'm still waiting for my refund. How they manage to stay in business heaven only knows.
I am writing this in the hope that no one else gets conned by this company. I ordered a pair of GUESS glasses from Optically. Two weeks later I got a call from the Customs office saying that I would need to pay R200 for customs duties. I was not made aware that the glasses were being imported from China and that I would need to pay custom duties. Anyway so I got the glasses, put them on and 1/2 hr later took them off. Then I noticed that the right arm of the glasses were hanging at a strange angle. On closer inspection I saw that the hinge was torn. (After 30 minutes!!!) If these are genuine GUESS glasses then my name is Cleopatra. I have spent R2500 on counterfeit junk.
