I have since resigned from my Employer and sought the services of Old Mutual to deposit my Pension Fund. A past colleague referred me to Setjhaba Malefane who is a Financial Advisor in the Johannesburg Branch. I asked to see him on Thursday, but because these are my last days, I am too busy at the office, I asked him to come to my office in Bank City which is less than a 5 minute walk from him. He told me on Friday he couldn't make it since it was their open day and promised to come today at 9am. I got to the office at 08:30 and got his missed calls, he told me he's not going to be able to make it since he has other people he is busy with, meaning my business is not a priority to Old Mutual. WAY TO GO OLD MUTUAL AND THANK YOU FOR NOTHING.<br> <br> My last day is tomorrow 20th of April and I have no clue where to deposit my pension. Can I ask that reliable and customer service conscious Financial Advisors contact me on 0738078725 since I urgently need the service.
I just received a call from telemarketers saying that they received my cell number from my service provider (Mtn). I was so annoyed!!!!!! I have been with Mtn for as long as I have had a cellphone and am so irritated by this. I am not sure why it hasnt occured to Mtn that if I want a certain product, I will go out an look for it, not the other way round. I am even contemplating moving to another service provider in order to avoid these reckless marketers!!!! Is there anybody else suffering the same thing as me? Is this even allowed to happen? Isnt this also part of reckless lending? Someone please help and rescue us from Mtn.
I live in the area and liked Nineteen69 from a distance and one day my boyfriend and I decided to go try it out. My word, the watron gave us menus and took the drinks order and left us for 2 full hours and never bothered to check on us, when we tried to place the food order she told us the kitchen had closed. The second time, I invited my colleagues because I wanted to have my farewell party from there, I must say that Lee, the floor manager has stinking attitude. The watrons there in general dont have the sense of urgency towards black patrons. You find them running around white patrons by they make you sit. The last straw was yesterday Sunday 12/07/2015 in the evening, restaurant wasn't that busy, The guy sat us down and I asked for the menu, 20 minutes later I was still waiting for the menu to place my order until my boyfriend was like, clearly they dont value us as customers. I so wish the 1969 Management and staff could go to the Greenside, Parktown, Rosebank, Sandton, Melrose Arch restaurant scene and learn how to treat people equally. The service sucks and I strongly warn black people to not dare go to Nineteen69.
The security guard lady at reception is extremely rude. I had gone in since I had an appointment on the 12th floor. I greeted and she didn't respond and the trouble started when I asked her as to what to fill regarding the company visited, she was so rude and started saying, we are so educated and yet we can't fill a simple form. She was loud and arrogant as well. Am so disappointed with Sandton City Towers building management for subjecting visitors to this idiot with zero people skills. Such an upmarket establishment with a rude person on its frontline. She is your first point of contact and she should be removed.
I have an educational policy with Metropolitan Life. I called to surrender the policy and I was told to submit the necessary documents of which I did however, I forgot to attach the child's birth certificate which Mogohlwa Oliphant came back to me via email to say I needed to attach it. Since I didnt have it with me, I only managed to find it and attach and sent the full documents on 23/03/2015 and I CCed the admin email, Mogohlwa read the email on the 24/03/2015. Before I sent the documents, I called Metropolitan and the guy I spoke to said it would take 3 days for me to receive the funds and said the reason it would take 3 days was that I banked with a different bank and said if I banked with ABSA I would get them on that same day. Today, 30/03/2015 I spoke to Mogohlwa and he said my documents are sitting somewhere in the queue and will be processed as and when they can. I asked him what the turnaround time was and he didnt know, after I got irate he said it is 5 working days after they process the request. What the hell is that? He went on and on and said they are busy and so on. my question to Metropolitan is, WHAT THE HELL IS THE TURNAROUND TIME?and please stop misleading us.
