Great Service from SAPS
Howick police station must be one of the best. Firearm licence renewal handled professionally and constant contact kept even though it took a long time. When I brought the wrong photocopies I offered to go and redo them but they did it for me- a govt service first! Senior officers come out and offer to help the public when the station is busy. Must have a good commanding officer to achieve this level of service and empathy

Great Service
Great service. Bought a Defy tumble dryer that ran for 20 minutes and then blew the distribution board. Return was a bit of a schlep but everyone was helpful and courteous and I was given a full refund as lock-down was imminent and I could not handle a new unit in time

Went the extra mile with specially compounded medication. We were not sure if the couriers would be allowed to make the delivery before lock-down but were very pleasantly surprised to find ***ron had taken it upon themselves to personally deliver the medication, which arrived at 16h00 on the eve of lock-down

Query sorted out after quite some time but I was kept informed the whole way. Thanks to all concerned, especially Lerato Nkosi. Claim will now be paid out from the enhanced dentistry benefits, and not my savings, in the next few days. Well done!

Tearing My Hair Out
I just don't know how to get a response from Medshield. Still trying to sort out an issue that started in 2014. Authorisations given but answers given include: Practice doesn't exist, Authorisation required (number submitted), Wrong code (orthodontist says it is the only one), Paid out of savings instead of enhanced dentistry. Bounced from operators to DENIS and back again. DENIS supervisors to phone back and never do. Impossible to get hold of a supervisor from the call centre but the call centre is the only number you can dial.
