I visited Hilite Bellville store on Saturday 20th Nov 2021. I needed pillows made, re-upholstered for 2 cane chairs. The salesperson I dealt with was Liezel. She gave me a quote for R1710. I paid a deposit of R1000. My invoice number is 62429. She promised their driver would fetch the cane chair on the Tueaday, for the measurements. No one came to fetch the chair. I made contact with Liezel on 1st Dec 2021. She promised their driver would fetch the chair. No one came. I went back to the store on the 13th Dec 2021 and spoke to Liezel. She promised someone would fetch the chair the following day. On the 15th Dec 2021 I made contact with Liezel to tell her that they still did not fetch the chairs. She did not reply to my message. On the 18 Dec 2021, I went back to the store. Liezel wasnt there and I spoke to Adenaan. I told him I was unhappy and I need the chairs for Christmas. He tried to assist and sent a driver to fetch the chair. He promised the pillows would be ready before Christmas. On the 23rd Dec 2021 I went back to the store to pay the balance of R710 and to confirm if my pillows would be delivered before Christmas. I spoke to Adenaan and he promised me it would be. Christmas came and went, I did not receive my pillows. I tried to phone the week after Christmas. They did not answer their phone. I tried to phone after New year, they did not answer their phone. Today is 4 Jan 2022, I did not receive my pillows and I did not hear anything from them. The numbers I phoned was: 021 949 0496 078 3656378 Unhappy client
On 29 August, I applied for the funds available in my Moneyback Benefit of my Hollard policy. Initially I was told that it would take 3-4 days to process the payment. When I contacted them 10 days later, I was told that it takes up to 14 days to process the payment. I have called in many times since my application and each time I have been given a reference number, but no real answer to my questions. I have been sent from pillar to post, but no-one seems to be held accontable. It is like the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. After 27 days, Hollards claims department called me to inform me that they had finally calculated the amount payable to me and they would pay out within 24 hours. Well has now been 33 days later and 154 hours since said empty promise and I am still waiting for the payment to be affected.
I posted a complaint on HelloPeter on 25 January relating to my dissatisfaction with the poor service received from MTN Zewenwacht when purchasing my latest handset. Ayanda from MTN's complaint department, responded to my complaint (REQ: 616 4380) on 27 January saying that the matter had been \escalated to MTN Zewenwacht's management team\" , that the matter was receiving \"urgent attention\" and that MTN Zewenwacht would \"contact me with feedback\" asap. Well, it has no been 20 DAYS and still I wait for their response. Also, I lodged a complaint 10 days ago on the MTN Complaints Department's web page and they replied that they would get back to me within a maximum of 5 days. Not surprisingly, I have had NO WORD from them either. I am so disgusted by MTN's non-existent after sales service. Surely they are not to be allowed to do as they please and then refuse to be held accountable?!"
I took out a contract a month and a half ago at Zewenwacht MTN and told the salesman I wanted the IPhone 6S because I could sync it with my iPad and enjoy the ITunes which was already loaded onto my iPad and share other apps. The salesman told me that I should not go for the iPhone, because it only had a 1 year guarantee and it was no longer for sale x 36 months, even though the catalogue still had it advertised over 36 months. It is still advertised x 36 months in the newest catalogue. How odd is that? A few days after applying for the phone I went back to Zewenwacht MTN to find out if my application had been approved, after receiving no call from MTN. I was told that it had been approved. Upon the recommendation of the first saleman and the new lady who helped me, I took the Samsung Galaxy Edge x 36 months even though my heart was set on the iPhone 6S. I was led to believe that the Edge's memory could be upgraded via a mini SD card, that it had a radio and that the battery could in fact be removed. I have since discovered that none of these features are offered on the phone. I have since learnt from MTN Soneike that the iPhone has 1 year guarantee with MTN + 1 year with Apple.
On 26 March my insurance company arranged a rental car , a Polo TSIwith Bidvest Car Rental, Newlands. We arrived there just before 4pm, because I had to wait for my lift. When my wife wanted to pay the R1950 fuel deposit, she was told that they had no debit card facilities and that she would have to get the cash from the ATM. Jodi, the agent, seemed concerned that it was almost 4pm as they were closing then and ESKOM has stated that the power would be cut at that time. The delay with the payment caused him more stress. At the undercover parking, Jodi seemed in a rush. At no point did he take us around the car to check any panels nor any of the 27 items listed on the Damage Check Sheet - not one item was ticked.
