I looked for a specific Resin Printer not locally available, but only online, and decided on EC3D based on their positive rating. The printer arrived faulty out of the box which is always a possibility. After phoning them personally, a very streamlined and effective process started from their side to replace the printer. If the need arises that I need to shop online again for 3D printing needs, they will most definitely be a first option. Thank you Sean for a professional experience, the team included.
The shopping experience was easy and a pleasure. Some of the products seemed to be high quality rejects (bar chair I purchased), but others good quality. Need to keep this in consideration. You sometimes get what you pay for. This is not a reflection on them, rather the vendors they are using.
I have always had good service until recently when I purchased according to the adverti*****t an Ecom light 400W. On three occasions they provided me with a lesser quality light and brand. The last time two times I send the product back to be replaced with the actual advertised brand, but they only refunded me which is unacceptable as it is proof they never intended selling the actual as it happened with 2 different sellers. One all occasions they place a Ecom sticker on the box to mislead the buyer making them think it is the actual. On one occasion the sticker even said the product was a Ecom 400W, while the actual product was another brand marked on the box as 600W, which was not even closely as bright as the actual Ecom brand they suggested was sold and of which I have one of. They allow their seller to do fake advertising and there is not quality checks or accountable to sort out these fraudulent processes. I have photos as proof.
I have had two shippings from China to South Africa and both went without any problems even the process through customs. Great service.

Cad House leaves no doubt that it functions in a dishonest and deceiving way in regard to openness about their warranties. I bought a 3D printer from them through Takealot with no indication on their (Cad House) invoice to the warranty period. At the same time they stated on another site that the product has a 1 year warrantee (I have the site image). The product broke inside 1 year and suddenly they stated the warranty is only 6 months. They will not repair the product if I do not pay for the repairs but the only proof they have given up till now is from the mouth (nothing official on paper), while on BidorBuy they stated clearly: “Warranty Type: Manufacturer One Year” They are not trustworthy. The proof of a company is in their honesty and is defined by the honest information they supply to their clients and correcting their mistakes when they are realized. Sorry CAD House, but that is dishonest and deceitful!

Takealot always gave good service when buying. This time the product (from Cad House) broke inside a year. Suddenly no one has proof of a 1 year warranty on the product! I believe that Takealot also thought that there was a one year warranty on the product as they accessed the warranty period and were very willing to pick the product up. On the process the following was written: “Checking eligibility and Eligibility confirmed”.

The problem started when CAD House suddenly proclaimed that the product had only 6 mnths warranty. Nowhere on the CAD House site or their receipt or Takealot had it stated it to be 6 mnths. On BidorBuy CAD House sold the exact same product at exactly the same time stating under Warranty Type: “Manufacturer One Year”.

Takealot is taking no responsibility for this seemingly devious situation on their or CAD House side. Presently other product including CAD House products are sold with no reference to warranty period. YOU CAN NOT TRUST TAKEALOT. You will lose. I am corresponding with them now for nearly 2 mnths to take action at least against CAD House and to take responsibility. They do not recognize the problem and they have done nothing to resolve it except to be the mail man between me and CAD House. If this is not resolved, I will have no choice but to state the names of all the agents at Takealot that communicated with me on this product.

My Xperia Z3 screen cracked without any immediate obvious reason. After reading a bit, I came to realise that there seems to be a screen defect on all Z models. I send it in for repairs as other service providers do look at this problem as real. Even when dropped they still make allowance for free repairs under warranty. The sad thing was that policy was thrown at me: \... for every business transaction made we have to be governed by rules
