I’ve been a loyal Adidas customer for years, but my recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. I purchased a pair of shoes that developed a quality issue within the 6-month warranty period. Thinking that Adidas would stand behind their products, I submitted an inquiry for assistance. To my shock, a week later I received a response claiming that my shoes were out of warranty – even though I had clearly reached out well within the 6-month window. Upon further investigation, it was evident that the agent hadn’t bothered to check my purchase or delivery date. This was a clear indication that Adidas had no intent of honoring their warranty offer. Since then, I’ve sent multiple follow-up emails, but it's been over a month, and my problem is still not resolved. Not a single response. The lack of communication and total disregard for customer concerns is appalling. Adidas is quick to take your money, but once a problem arises, they are nowhere to be found. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, *********, and has completely ruined my faith in the brand. I’ve never felt so ignored and disrespected. It’s clear that once they’ve got your money, they couldn’t care less about resolving issues or keeping their customers happy. I will not be buying Adidas products again, and I strongly urge anyone considering them to think twice before making a purchase. Customer service should be a priority, and right now, Adidas is failing miserably.
I am writing this review to warn others about my extremely disappointing experience with Phendukane Builders (Pty) Ltd, owned by Mr. Velaphi Veli Buthelezi (also known as Mr. Willie). He operates in the Alberton, Johannesburg, JHB South area. In 2022, I hired Mr. Buthelezi to build an +- 100 SQM entertainment area at my home in Brackenhurst, Alberton. He presented himself as experienced and professional, even pointing out a nearby complex he said he had recently built. Based on this and his NHBRC registration, I trusted him with the job. The work was completed around November 2022. However, within the first year, the floor began to crack severely and eventually deteriorated to the point where holes had formed. I contacted Mr. Buthelezi in January 2025. He acknowledged the poor workmanship and promised to re-do the floor under the 5-year warranty he had provided in writing. What followed was a long string of excuses, delays, and broken promises. After several months of constantly trying to get him to start with the repairs, he merely deployed 2 workers to break up the floor using jackhammers and left it in a worse condition. Since then, I have received no proper communication or action from him. At one point, he even made false claims about not being able to get materials – which I personally verified as untrue with his supplier. To date, the floor remains destroyed and he has not attempted to honour his contractual warranty obligation. Despite giving him ample time and opportunities, Mr. Buthelezi has failed to honour his warranty and responsibilities. I have since reported the matter to the NHBRC. I urge anyone considering Phendukane Builders to think twice before trusting Mr. Buthelezi with any building project. His conduct has been unprofessional, *********, and deeply disappointing.
Bessie came out to view my requirements for a new Carport. I made it clear to them that I do not want any water leaks as I intend to close the area around the carport and that waterproofing should be done. It was promised that there will be no water leaks. This aspect was included in the quote. After installation it was noted that the water proofing was not done correctly. They returned to attempt to fix but this was also not done correctly. I then request them to come again to resolve the issue, sending pictures and videos showing the water leaks when it rains. I have sent numerous e-mails asking them to help and fix the problems as the water leaks is causing further damage, but they simply decide to ignore me. I have lost faith in this company. It seems that once you pay them, they do not worry about the problems. I am now forced to seek alternative ways, eg Consumer Ombudsman, NHBRC or even the small claims court to resolve this issue with them as they cannot refuse to attend to poor workmanship issues.

Booked a trip through Scenic Travel, www.scenictravel.co.za with Bonita Chazen. Had some issues with the flights. It was promised that they will refund in full. After months of broken promises, we are still waiting for the balance refund of R60k to be paid back. Lack of communication, lack of feedback, empty promises and the list goes on. BAD EXPERIENCE, be careful.
JVC TV's are the worst TV brand there is. This is a pathetic brand and I will not even pay R1 to own a JVC TV ever in my life. You will get more value for money if you buy a chappie for R1. Compatibility issues, apps not working, screen mirroring not working, poor internet browsing, nothing works! Most of the popular apps don't work and if they work, it is very slow and freezes often. The user experience is terrible. I bought a Vulkano soundbar, it can connect to my Samsung TV, a LG TV and Hisense TV but not on my JVC TV. My TV is not old but they say this TV is not compatible as they are not in control of 3rd party apps. My Samsung TV is older than my JVC TV, but everything works on my Samsung TV, so why not on my JVC TV? They are basically saying, every time a app is upgraded (showmax, DSTV NOW, Netflix, Youtube etc) you will have to buy a new TV as the TV will not be compatible anymore and they blame someone else. I would have expected them to ensure their TVs remains compatible with the upgrades of such apps. What is a Smart TV if it cannot access any apps. JVC is distributed in South Africa by NU-WORLD INDUSTRIES (PTY) LTD, and they do not give a @#$% about customers and ignore customers who experience problems. In my opinion they are a mickey mouse company and cannot be trusted. Just search JVC on Hello Peter and see all the complaints on their TV's and their service offered. Be very careful if you consider to buy a JVC TV. I will stay far away from this pathetic brand.

Wow, I have experienced the absolute worst shopping experience EVER with this company! From payment portals not working, to them advertising a product for a certain price but then refusing to honor their advertised price, delayed response to assist a customer, to their support team including management and head of online sales ignoring a customer, to them displaying certain products on their website which I decide to buy based on the image of the product, but when they deliver, it is totally different than what they have advertised, not 1 product but multiple on 1 order! This is by far the worst experience of online shopping I have ever experienced! I think it is better for them to shut their website down. I will most certainly not trust them EVERY EVER again!
An unauthorized debit order has been going of my Domestic workers account. The value is R230 with a Reference- SS-Legcov.............. She went to Capitec and they simply said they cannot reverse this. When looking on HelloPeter, i note many people are complaining about the exact same problem. The problem, which Capitec has acknowledged, has been brought to their attention in 2020 already, below 2 links where people complained and Capitec commented / acknowledged the problem. Why is Capitec not doing anything about this and whilst knowing about this problem, still allowing this company to set up debit orders on people's accounts and then lying to them stating they cannot reverse the debit order. This is pathetic and this case should be taken to the Banking Ombudsman. I urge everybody who encounters this problem to submit a complaint at https://www.obssa.co.za/ so that Capitec can be forced to assist their customer to resolve such errors. Capitec, I also demand that you get back to me and provide proof where this debit order has been accepted by my Domestic worker and if there is no such proof, i demand that you refund her account, with interest ASAP as you have mislead her by informing her you cannot reverse such debit orders when se requested such. I further demand that you cancel this debit order immediately and put in place measures to stop such illegal debit orders especially as you are aware of this problem. Poor service!! Very slow delivery and poor communication! Customer support simply ignores the customer. Wil NEVER use their service again.
