EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. I ORDERED A LADDER ONLINE. DELIVERY WAS BOOKED FOR 18 DECEMBER. STILL NOT DELIVERED. AFTER ENQUIRY I GOT RESPONSE TODAY: DELIVERY 22 JANUARY. MORE THAN A MONTH LATE. I NEEDED THE LADDER OVER MY YEARLY HOLIDAY FOR REPAIRS. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AGAIN. TRULY USELESS.
I CAN NOT BELIEVE LANCET GETS 1.29 STARS. IT SHOULD BE NEGATIVE. I AM A DOCTOR WHO SENDS MOST OF MY LAB WORK TO LANCET. UNFORTUNATELY I AM ALSO A PATIENT. I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR AGES NOT TO SETTLE MY ACCOUNT. THE APP IS TOTALLY DYSFUNCTIONAL. OTP'S LATE, ERROR MESSAGES, REDO PASSWORDS, ACCOUNT EMPTY, PATIENTS NOT FOUND, AUTHENTICATION THAT DOES NOT WORK. SMS TO PAY ACCOUNT WORSE. LINK TO SEE ACCOUNT NOT WORKING. NEEDED MULTIPLE TRIES TO SEE ACCOUNT. HELP EMAIL, MAINLY USELESS, TAKES MORE THAN A WEEK TO GET A RESPONSE. ALL I WANT TO DO IS SETTLE MY ACCOUNT. PATHETIC.
Either the most dishonest, ******* and morally bankrupt organization I have ever dealt with, or the most *********** idiots. I think it is both, but the non payment of valid claims suggest they are just common *******. Please read my reviews on Hello Peter dated 30 Oct and 28 Nov 2024. After all that frustration I eventually got a letter of authorisation for treatment of injury. Obviously the first authorisation was incorrect and had to be amended after I complained. The letter stated a very specific ICD 10 code to be used. I provided the quote for the procedure with request for autherisation. All procedure numbers, tooth numbers and amounts were on the quote. The authorisation did not state any exclusions or limits. I had the first procedure, correct ICD 10 code on prescription for medication rejected by Discovery by 2 pharmacies. I had to pay +- R 40 000 a month in advance to service provider (due to inter alia the December holidays) I then claimed for the procedure. I included the authorisation letterLess than 10 % was paid by Discovery. The reason: no ICD 10 codes, no teeth numbers, exclusions and limits all excuses not to pay. The claim had the ICD 10 codes more than 10 times on one page and all teeth numbers. DISCOVERY IS PATHETIC. AVOID AT ALL COST.
DISCOVERY IS JUST TRULY PATHETIC. USELESS. FIRST COMPLAINT RESOLVED ONLY AFTER I RESPONDED TO HELLO PETER THAT DISCOVERY DID NOT RESOLVE YET. SEE PREVIOUS COMPLAINT. TODAY I GET AN EMAIL, SURVEY ENEQUIRING ABOUT ABOVE CALL. WHEN I COMPLETE SURVEY THE SHOCKING RESPONSE I GET "SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG ON OUR SIDE" THESE ARE JUST THE HIGHLIGTS . DISCOVERY IS USELESS, PATHETIC. AVOID AT ALL COST
Shocking and pathetic service. I fell and broke my teeth. Treatment should be covered by my plan's "Basic Dental Trauma Benefit" First claim declined, apparently wrong ICD code. Claim resubmitted. Apparently wrong codes again. After multiple calls and e mails codes requested to use on claim. Claim rejected again, tooth numbers apparently not included. Claim resubmitted. Claim rejected again "your plan does not cover this service". Above as just a summary. There has been probably 15e mails and 20 calls to Discovery. Once spent half a day to get through to call centre. In the verification process you get asken to press a certain digit to get a OTP sent. After pressing the digit I was told "your resonse not received". I tried abot 15 times that day, could not get through. Very frustratrating. Wish I could calculate the total premiums I paid last 20+ years. Astronomical amount, now this poor service. Close to three months aa the emails and calls, still claim rejected, I am a medical practitioner and deal with this obstuctive behavior from Discovery regularly. Disccovery is not to be trusted. Do their utmost not to pay claims. Can not recommend Discovery.
GOT SMS EARLY IN MORNING FOR DELIVERY TWO DAYS IN A ROW. I STAYED AT HOME AT GREAT COST, WAITNG FOR DELIVERY. STILL NOT DONE. AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS, ADIDAS IS TRULY PATHETIC
I WANTED TO SWITCH HOUSE LOAN, CURRENT ACCOUNT, CREDIT CARD, VEHICLE FINANCING AND INSURANCE TO FNB DUE TO POOR SERVICE AT CURRENT BANK. WENT TO BRANCH AT THE GROVE. I WAS TOLD WAITING TIME TO SEE A CONSULTANT IS 1 HOUR 25 MIN. WHO CAN WAIT THAT LONG. VERY POOR FIRTS IMPRESSION. I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS TO A COMPETITOR.
Same as other review. Made payment. No delivery. E mails sent to email address which sent confirmation of payment are not delivered by GMAIL. Address does not exist.
Pathetic service. Worst is the arrogant e mail to inform scheduled delivery not done. No apology. Just instruction to contact them for details. Why not just send the details/ Pathetic
On Discovery Classic Smart. PFD download of Benefits 2019 clearly states "dental check-up at any dentist, dental the****** or oral hygienist", is a benefit. Now they refuse to pay claim because they do not accept my hygienist's practice type/number. Number has to start with specified digits (usually indicates type of practice/provider). What do they not understand the meaning of "any", as quoted from their documents in quote above? I think the claim is just R 380. I will take them to the ombudsman, this is an matter of principle.
