After all the issues I have had over all the contracts I have had with Vodacom for many many years I have stuck it through. Now after switching to pay as you go, all of the sudden my number has been disconnected from the Vodacom network out of the blue. Now to resolve the issue, I cannot even contact customer care because all of their robots don’t recognize my number as part of the Vodacom network. Honestly, I just can’t believe it. It has been such a tough year and I was looking at reactivating my contract with Vodacom once I get paid all of my outstanding money from my clients, but Vodacom’s customer service never fails to disappoint!
Hi, Over Easter weekend I came down with severe Bronchitis which was borderline pneumonia. To give you some context - I legitimately sounded like a hookah. I was struggling to breathe and my oxygen levels were fluctuating between 89% and 95%. On the 10th April after struggling for days my husband suggested I just go to the hospital because obviously all the doctors offices are closed. I went through to the emergency room and they separated me out due to Covid concerns, put me on a neb, did x-rays to see if my chest was within limits so that I did not have to be admitted. Gave me a prescription and I went to the pharmacy to get Dual Antibiotics and meds and put myself to bed. Now I am getting the bills come off of my Medical Aid Savings Account - R4,120.12! I had a look at my medical aid - I am paying R5686.00 a month for my daughter and I - of that only R 1421.00 is the Medical Aid Saving contribution - BUT EVERYTHING COMES OFF MEDICAL AID SAVINGS!! Where does the other R4265.00 go???? The cost of running the disgustingly oversized building in the middle of Sandton where half the staff dont work any more due the the "Hybrid" implementations of COVID? I mean it certainly did not cover me going to the hospital, with my "Unlimited Hospital Cover," "200% cover on specialists" or my "unlocked Wellth fund" that is supposed to be for GP visits? Literally as I look at your website I just see lies and deceit! I literally cannot believe how ridiculous Discovery is - overly priced and completely underwhelming delivery. You can expect me to start looking elsewhere.
My brother bought me a Fenn. Bag for my birthday in December, and I was in love with it. It was the greatest concept I had seen in ages. Being a new mommy, I had been walking around with my maternity bags and I was yet to trade them out. The Fenn. Bag was amazing, I could wash it, exchange the inners and the straps, and it is big enough to chuck in what I need for my toddler as I am rushing out the house. Much to my dismay, as I started to use the bag my one strap decided to break. It was a disappointment as it was a brand new bag. Nevertheless, the disappointment was short lived - I brought it to their attention and Fenn. and Shereen came through for me! They shipped me replacement straps and they arrived timeously! I want to say thank you for the excellent customer service and I will be back soon for my next bag!
Hi, I am actually dealing with a case of fraud from your company. I understand you have a new contract with Toyota and they install your "BEAME" trackers as standard practice, but I clearly said I dont want your services and went with Tracker as they were cheaper and offered more. I never signed a debit order, never signed a contract - and your accounts department has just started debiting my account. I have sent communications received confirmation of immediate termination, but you are still debiting. Until you refund me my money and take me off your data base, I am going to make it my lifes work to let the world know that you are a fraudulent company.
Towards the close of 2020, I was sent for blood tests by my doctor. This bill was submitted directly to Discovery who only paid a portion from my cover. I then resubmitted it to claims to cover the remainder from my Medical Savings. In response they then said that the remainder couldn’t be paid from my savings as the insulin test is deemed unnecessary by the medical board. I asked how it was possible that I can go to a pharmacy and buy cal-c-vita or Rehydrate on my medical savings, but I can’t pay for a insulin test. Now instead of them paying a R450 bill, they are having to pay me out R4200 of what is in MY savings because in order to pay my bill I have to downgrade and run my own savings account - just complete Madness! It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!
Smoke Daddy's is my favorite weekend brunch spot as a mom. You can sit in the play area with your little one, have a sip of your coffee and a bite of your food and your child doesn't have to be tied to your lap. On top of having the pleasure of your kiddies being entertained - I have never had a bad meal! Honestly - Well Done Guys, I love your establishment
Firstly, Vodacoms service is absolutely shocking - I am paying over R1500 a month and am unable to talk on the phone to somebody in my own house because I have no signal - in the middle of Fourways! I literally have to connect to my home fibre and call people on Whatsapp to get a hold of anyone... What a Joke! Secondly, with the year we have all had with COVID-19, with salary reductions, retrenchment, etc. everyone is looking to reduce spend - there was never any assistance offered from Vodacom and I struggled to make all of my payments up to date. I decided to have a look at when I could cancel one of my contracts - this would help me reduce some spend and recover financially, and I knew it was coming up as I renewed for 24 months in Dec-2018. Well, upon contacting Vodacom, I find out that they are trying to charge me an additional 3 months on top of my 24 month contract because I did an "early upgrade" - the operators on the phone talked to me as if I could not do basic math and don't know what 24 months is. They told me they would investigate it and no one has gotten back to me. To backdate - when I did the upgrade VODACOM CONTACTED ME AND TOLD ME IT WAS DUE. After going ahead and doing the upgrade I was then charged DOUBLE for 3 months. I phoned and complained - and Vodacom told me that I still had to settle the old contract. SO I PAID DOUBLE FOR THREE MONTHS (have the statements reflecting such), AND I MUST NOW PAY AN ADDITONAL THREE MONTHS???? Please use your brains people!!! I have always stuck with Vodacom through the years because they are supposed to be a large network with the best coverage - but honestly - I am at the end of my tether and their service just sucks, and worst of all, they want to rip their clients off during the worst economic year the world has ever seen - a time when everyone (BUT VODACOM) is coming together and helping each other out. Vodacom's Reference Number for ongoing complaint: 1-34860029627983
I am just so shocked and disgusted at the service I received from the courier guy! With the COVID-19 pandemic we have been required to send a courier to collect our companies documentation instead of personally collecting it. We send a courier once, sometimes twice a week to collect documentation we have confirmed as ready, I send them a full list of the documents and book a flyer bag. Last week Thursday I did just that, sent The Courier Guy full list of my documents that were ready for collection, paid and booked for courier services, only to receive ONE of my 5 documents on Friday. Instead of apologizing for the mistake and asking the delivery driver who drives there EVERY DAY to collect the outstanding documents (this costs The Courier Guy nothing to correct their mistake) they tell me that I must book and pay AGAIN! The entire purpose of this exercise is to REDUCE human contact with this pandemic, what The Courier Guy is telling me is that I have to send a courier for each individual piece of paper that I need collected!! I have never had such a frustration with such unprofessional, negligent behavior!
My friend purchased a NoolaBug 3 in 1 Travel Set in December 2016 for her son. With him being in the hospital for quite some time in the early months, and then him outgrowing it quite rapidly, she didn't get much use of it, so I asked if she would sell it to me as we were trying and the set was in such great condition, she had not gotten the isofix for the set, which is something I wanted, so I decided I would just purchase that separately once we were expecting. I am now expecting on the 4th October, and trying to get everything ready and finalized, so I went ahead to order the isofix, only to discover that Noola has discontinued the isofix for that generation, making my once isofix compatible chair completely non-isofix, which is not what Noola had promised when selling this chair. This now forces me to either buy a whole new seat, or trade-in the whole set. I thought that trading in would be the most affordable way to go, seen as the set is basically brand new, but no! Noola wanted to give me a whopping R2800 back for the entire set, (basically the escalation on their prices over the past 2 years) essentially meaning that I have to pay double for a set I have yet to even use! Just extremely disappointed in a company I once would have highly recommended.

Went to Olmeca and they charged me R22.50 for a glass of dry white wine. The music was so loud I could barely hear my friend speak, they are a small pub with 15 clients present. Absolutely terrible representation of the common amanzimtoti pubs, which are busier and cheaper.
