I opened account 2yr conteact on saturday for a p10 hauweie phone contract paper woek sorted and I was left with smilecon my face now my wife finally had new contract phone 24hrs later I activated the phone with my wifes old som and new sim installed the sim never ported the new sim was suddenly pay as you go the old sim semi pay as you go ot had 10gig wifi data no phone time the new sim had pay as you go data with the 1gig data which was part of contract I installed whats app and updated the phone software as to it asked to be updated 2.6gig software update which was crazy so I left the phone to update due to both sims had enough data my wife quickly watched one utube video I went to check on phone update just to see yes its updated but only 3rd of pay as you go data used but I had R500 billing on phone non of 10 gig or 1 gig on the other sim was used I with lots of effort got hold of customer care they finally said there's a ****** up I need to go to nearest Telkom branch so I needed to fly out to jhb so I went to somerset west mall the telkom staff took my contract made copy and said thst they could not get hold of herm**** staff they will call me back but yes there is problem with contract and sims they will call me once I am available at the time I gave them I still have had no feedback or any call from them my wife then called telkom yesterday 17april they said they cannot talk to her I am the signee for contract well its the 18 more than 24hrs after my wife called them they still have not called back the sims and contract is still problematic my wife cant do any phone banking due to the whole ****** up also I was notified only by customer care with the call I made sunday 15 april that due to There is no telkom towers in our vicinity I will need to go on roaming and my phone will automatically use out of data bundle rates which the telkom salesmen never notified me about that all the data I have I cannot use I need to buy data for all networks so I am sitting with a contract that is usless this is unprofessional and a uninformed information that I was not given that if I do not have telkom Tower near my house in bot river then telkom will roam on vodacom and mtn if I have contract that data is usless unless I top it up with data for all networks

I am customer almost 12 years with vodacom I have spent thousands of rands on accounts upgrades, cell phones only to get bad service.I pay my dues every month and to top it off they shut my services down today. 7 weeks ago I went online I cancelled my insurance on my cell phone due to vodacom will not pay for damages of a faulty phone which was promised to me will be a stunning phone also sony with all their advertisement. I got my sony experia just under my 2 year contract and used it less than total of 3 months sending it back and forth for repaires as the phone constantly gave problems, I get call 8 weeks back from caledon vodacom wont pay the damages to phone even after it has been with them for more than 5 weeks. I have had it so I go online to 2 cancelation departments and request cancel of my insurance and reciept that they still have my phone to be destroyed , 2 weeks later I pay my account minus the insurance I start getting calls to pay the insurance this goes on I go into grove mall vodacom I get told ag just pay it we give a crap they do not cancel my insurance I go to other vodacom get it done and still they shut off my services. vodacom the worst cellphone company !!
