Really, really poor in every aspect. I bought a Lenova IP3i7 with a three warranty. I bought such in November. The Laptop became incredibly hot and ceased to operate. At the Cresta l was told that there is a 21 day turn around and I must bye and install MS 11 operating system and install it myself and I will loose all my data. Of course this was not mentioned when it was sold to me. I am disabled and rely on an income that is derived from my laptop. They staff had no intention of hearing anything I had to say. I requested to discuss this with the store manager. He was not in (on a Saturday morning?). I feel obliged to state "be careful about fancy sales talk where you are promised the world and then be faced with really poor aftersale service by the store and the brand. I which there was a zero star rating. After service is everything. Obtaining an email address is a real task.
Recently I provided a poor. Recent experienced have dramatically changed my viewpoint. The owner responded , and I understand that there was a huge and sudden surge in demand and installations. The response indeed changed my mind, as the service was excellent. The problem was sorted out the same day that I was contacted, and it turned out to be a 10 minute fix. I receive regular phone calls inquiring as to the installation. Well it is perfect. The current level of service is far superior as apposed to other people I know that have used various companies. I was so impressed that I ordered six extra solar panels. The workmanship is ultra neat and load shedding is a thing of the past, with significant power saving. Pity about the glitch, but it was explained how this will be completely avoided in the future, and I am convinced it has., especially based on my current experience. It is a pleasure to retract low rating. This level of service and efficiency, in my opinion, places Romic on the top, when considering going the inverter and solar route.
In accordance with the radio Jacaranda interview and promotion by Romic, I ordered an inverter. This was really important to me as I am a chronic Epileptic with many seizures, and the dark poses many dangers during constant power outages and additional load shedding. I was initially under the impression that the hybrid inverter could accommodate my generator for charging. I was told that they cannot, yet the writeup and specifications state they can. I was assured that they would contact the suppliers about this. I never heard a thing, I therefore laid out more money for an extra battery and solar. The solar has not been working for over four months. The installer never answers me, and my complaints and requests, even to the owner and representatives in Pretoria are to no avail. I cannot remotely monitor the system as I was never shown the app activation procedure , I have requested a quote for additional panels, but this is pointless as the current solar installation does not work. I have no peace of mind, trust in the system and especially the after sale service of something that is highly costly. Sad, I had such high aspirations for Romic as the radio program was highly enticing. The one good aspect I can confirm that there installation is neat and the inverter and battery equipment is of high quality, so far, except for the solar which no longer operates. Due to the status of load shedding I will have to cancel my trip to Durban to assist my father who is 94. I will forfeit the accommodation cost as well. Rather a sad story to tell.
I reported a complaint about my poor kitchen construction by Gerrie Bouwer who is the husband of Samantha Bouwer. Samantha Bouwer is an employee, and in sales at Tiles of Italy. I received poor service and problematic kitchen construction from Gerrie Bouswer, and reported that this was a result of Samantha Bouwer's recommendation from Gerrie Bouwer. I have discussed this matter in detail with Gerrie Bouwer (who has rectified the problems that I reported). In discussion it was determined that Samantha Bouwer did not recommend Gerrie bouwer, and in fact only assisted with our selection of the tiles. Gerrie, who was carrying out some cabinet building at the shop, approached us with no communication with Samantha Bouwer, and no recommendation. I therefore was mistaken, with my assumption that he was recommended by her. Samantha was actually very helpful in her recommendations and information, she imparted with, in our selection of the tiles. The tiles are a great combination and now that most of the poorly constructed kitchen has been rectified, the tiles look really good. It is a pity that Gerrie Bouwer caused such stress. Looks good now. Really great looking, quality tiles!!
My wife and I were browsing through the excellent range of tile collection of Tiles of Italy. On enquiry about the tiles with a member of the staff and our intention of a new kitchen creation, it was recommended to us by Samantha Bouwer that we make use of her husband to build our kitchen. Not knowing any kitchen builders we took her advise and selected tiles and took her advise and made arrangements to purchase tiles and have a new kitchen established by her husband one Gerrie Bouwer. This is when our kitchen nightmare began. A promised weeks has still not been finished a month later with endless mistakes promises wrong orders of tile and so on.. . The stress has been severe, and I as a chronic Epileptic suffered a severe seizure due to the stress of such poor treatment. Do not take advise from sales staff, other of that in the area of what they are selling. Companies should not permit their staff to promote outsiders such as in this case. We feel that we fell victim to this advise. It can tarnish the name of the company and companies should strictly forbid this practice with their staff.
A person by the name of Gerry Bouwer of mobile number (076 698 8995) ,was recommended by a sales person at Tiles of Italy North Riding. The person recommended was in fact the salesperson's husband. This person recommended offered to carry out the tiling as well as all other aspects required to supply a complete functional kitchen. The price he offered did sound reasonable at that time, so my wife and I agreed to the project. From the outset of the project this person was very seldom on sight. His attendance grew progressively worse, and his personal offered waited many hours for his attendance before the work required could be attended to. Each time Gerrie Bouwer would make and excuse that he required to fetch one part or another and often never returned for hours. The resultant work is shabby and fraught with mistakes. Later he requested more money stating that he could no complete the job without this. My wife and I utilized out entire savings for this work and suffered excessive stress. I as a chronic Epileptic suffered severe seizures which can be fatal. On of which Gerrie Bouwer was present, but this did did not deter him from following the same as described above. BE CAREFUL
On the 11 August I purchased an item for which I paid for as well as delivery. AI was promised delivery the next morning by the floor manager. I phoned a number of times yesterday and was assured that the item was on the delivery truck and that it will be delivered. Today I again phoned and was informed again that the item is on the truck and that delivery will take place. at 14H00 I phoned and spoke to a woman who informed me that the item was still in the delivery section waiting to be picked up. I am a chronic epileptic and am home bound and disabled to this condition. I cancelled a doctors appointment yesterday and today and will have to wait until for a cancellation in order to acquire another appointment. I have informed Game of this and as such the delivery is important to take place when promised. I have emailed their complaints line as well. All of this seems a fruitless effort, and the customer service in this instance proves to be extremely poor. Still holding my breath for delivery as I cannot drive to the branch to enquire, due to my condition, .
