Kamogelo was exceptionally helpful in resolving an issue I was having with adjusting my policy to reduce the premiums. He answered all my questions, explained everything thoroughly and got me my new documents the same day.
They breached the terms of the POPI act by unlawfully selling my personal information without my knowledge or consent to telemarketers for purposes of unsolicited marketing to me. On trying to obtain their contact information there is non because there are more than five different companies in different spheres of influence in South Africa all named Telegenix. One deals with pharmaceutical products, another with engineering, another with business analysis, another possibly with trading and yet another with market acumen. The woman who called me today said she was calling on behalf of Discovery Life to sell me life insurance and had received my information from "a Creditors Marketing Company named Telegenix" but she had no contact information for them. If anybody reading this has contact information for these people please get hold of me and let me know so that I can personally call them and find out who gave them my information to begin with and have it removed from their systems.
Today I had the pleasure of being assisted by Melony in setting up my account with her company and purchasing a power token online through their systems. She was polite, professional and well informed. She was also patient with me and never once lost her cool with me despite my being slow to grasp concepts. Her stellar service has made me feel welcome and valued as a customer which is where so many others fail. I will definitely be telling others about her company and encouraging them to sign up with Prepaid24 for all their prepaid needs.
I recently ported my contract from Altec Autopage to MTN. I signed a new contract with MTN at the beginning of September. I selected NOT to receive marketing. Since then I have received FOURTEEN marketing messages three of which were on the same day! Only the last four of those contained an opt out option which I used. I received confirmation that I had been removed from their marketing list each time only to get more marketing within 24 to 48 hours thereof. I sent them facebook notifications and requests for removal as well as emails all of which saw me assured by staff that I had been removed. Still getting spammed. Today I got an sms saying my data bundle expires in 48 hours. What data bundle?! I never bought one and don't want one. I am unemployed so could not buy such a thing even if I wanted it. My contract, paid by my spouse, contains data and I am linked to his package should I run over. MTN seems incapable of solving this issue and they text from an unblockable number so I can't even add their number to my spam list which is automatically rejected. I am an MTN customer of 15 years now and very disappointed in this poor service!
