Stay away from these *******! I app**** a FIRSTTIME coupon on my first purchase. The amount authorized at the bank included the discount but the amount deducted from my bank account did not include the discount. After explaining what had happened in a lengthy and heated telephone call with the team lead, Thando, she absolutely refused to honour the discount and credit my wallet. I have since deleted my account and will never ever be back. Please stick to Pnp ASAP, Checkers Sixty, etc but STAY away from this people at all costs. The prices of their items are also way much higher than in store. Not worth it.
I'm very surprised to see the low ratings for Medexpress. I've been using them for years and have had no issues, only service that's above and beyond. Only issue is one cannot call them direct. You need to contact Discovery and they will submit a call back request. I ran out of chronic medication on Tuesday evening. I submitted an order on the Discovery app but by Thursday the meds weren't delivered yet so I have been 1 day without meds. A lady by the name of Lanecia, who introduced herself as the client relations manager called me. I explained the situation and she arranged collection of the meds at a pharmacy. She asked me which was closest to me and called a few pharmacies to check for stock and got back to me saying that she found stock and I can collect before 5pm that day. I've had a similar experience with Medexpress before and I get the sense that they endeavor to resolve the query on the day, and they want to ensure that you have your meds on time.
Do not subscribe for a MTN contract upgrade online! You get called by a 3rd party outsourced company called Cell Network, and their service is atrocious! I took out an upgrade with them online on 04/11/2021. The upgrade was approved, and I was told the device would be delivered within in 7-10 working days. It's 26/11/2021 and I have not received any communication or any device. When I call MTN, they cannot assist you and refer you to Cell Network. I spoke to someone a Cell Network, and the lady (I think Lee or Leah is her name) told me that the person who done my contract no longer works there and the application is now hanging there. I was told I need to start the process from the beginning. When I asked a MTN store if they could rather upgrade my contract as I wouldn't have to wait so long, they said they cannot touch it as there's already an existing application with Cell Network, and that needs to be cancelled first. I called Cell Network to ask if they could cancel the application. They said yes they'll do it, but the MTN store came back to me and said it cannot be cancelled. So, almost a month later, I'm still sitting without an upgrade. NOBODY at Cell Network can seem to assist me by cancelling the application so I can go do the upgrade at a store instead. Stay away from MTN Cell Network contracts department if you can! Once again, a bunch of incompetent fools. I mean how can an approved application just hang there because the person who done the application no longer works there. I'd rather suggest going to a MTN store and taking a contract with MTN directly.
If I could, I would give DSTV (Multichoice) Price Lock a BIG FAT 0 rating! In October, I took out a Price Lock 24-month contract without installation. I then realised I should have taken the package with installation, and asked DSTV Price Lock a few days later, if they could change the contract to that with installation. The lady at the call centre said she would escalate the request to her Team Leader. Almost 2 weeks later, I didn't hear from them so I paid R3000 myself for the installation. It was a hassle to activate the services, and eventually had services for about 3 weeks until it was randomly disconnected. While querying this with Multichoice call centre live chats, all that the fools could tell me was "You must pay R900 something in order to reconnect your services". I couldn't understand this as, in my mind, I was on contract and should be paying via debit order. I then called in and was told that Price Lock was cancelled - I had no idea why. I left it as it was causing me too much stress, and had other things to worry about. I then decided to go into the DSTV walk-in centre at N1 City, Goodwood, and was assisted by Bunto, who was actually very helpful. She effectively explained to me what the issue was and fixed part of it. She explained that Price Lock subscription was cancelled, and I was paying R89 for the Explora Ultra for 24 months, access fee plus normal Premium Subscription fees. She then promised to take this up with Price Lock and get back to me. It's been 3 days but no response/resolution. I paid R950 on 23/11/2021. On 26/11/2021, they disconnected my services again and I had to pay another R750. I do not understand why did DSTV cancelled my price lock contract without me knowing and nobody there seems to be able to know why either. What a bunch of incompetent fools at DSTV and Price Lock. I would not recommend Price Lock to anyone! It's a complete mess. They lure you into this contract and then cancel it without you even knowing, and then you end up having to pay more for subscription fees. Nobody at Multichoice call centre can help you as it needs to be escalated to Price Lock, who takes days to call you back. When they eventually call you back, their rude and unhelpful staff refuse to assist you and hang the call up. I have had an extremely horrible service from this people and am ever sorry I get involved with them in the first place! Stay away, if you can!
Hi there,

I won a DSTV Explora + 3 months free premium subscription on at Smile 90.4 Radio Station on 14 August 2015.

The Installation was only done on 02 September 2015 after I complained at the radio station about the delay.

Now I am still waiting for MultiChoice to load credits onto my account for my 3 months free premium subscription that I was promised.

I spoke to Yonwaba in the Marketing Dept on Friday and she told me that she's waiting for \Pretty"to load the credits and that I need to be patient as she's busy loading 20 winners' credits.

I told her I've been patient enough for 3 weeks and I refuse to wait any longer. She then tried to phone \""Pretty\"""
