Hi, I loaded a script on the Discovery app and got the SMS indicating two hours to process. Never received any further communication. They call me a week later to tell me they have a backlog and that they understand my frustration for not having a means to call them or the get my Chronic Cardio related meds.

Absolutely useless. Suspended my medexpress account without contact me. Reason being that co payment did not go trough. Why not just send me the invoice for R300 and I will pay it with love. Or even beter, just deduct it from my bank account????? After logging 2 tickets via the medexpress option on discovery app, and logging 3 tickets with discovery as a perso can't contact you directly. NO RESPONSE. I AM CANCELING MY DISCOVERY MEDICAL AID DUE TO THIS ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE OF THEIR PARTNER AS I TOLD DISCOVERY I WILL DO.

Absolutely useless. Suspended my medexpress account without contact me. Reason being that co payment did not go trough. Why not just send me the invoice for R300 and I will pay it with love. Or even beter, just deduct it from my bank account????? After logging 2 tickets via the medexpress option on discovery app, and logging 3 tickets with discovery as a perso can't contact you directly. And once again I have an issue with MedExpress. Every single month there is an issue. This month they say that I should hand in a prescription that has already been handed in. They are issuing some of the products on it but not the one, cause they need a prescription. It is all on the same one that I have handed in. Well done MedExpress on keeping your record of having an issue every single month.

Every time I deal with there is an issue. I have been at risk of getting my chronic medication numerous times. Once the order is made and Clicks does not have that generic in Stock they cannot change to a different one and have to cancel the whole order and you have to start the order process again. If they collect co-payment they don't advise that it takes a few days for the payment to be collected from your bank account. I have to spend so much time on the phone with them, which I really don't have, to order and try to resolve issues. There is nothing smooth about the process. I will go back to Dischem where the service is awesome and they also deliver.

I am sick and tired of MedExpress always having an issue delivering chronic medication. They either "did not receive" the script or their systems is down. And then there is no ways of getting hold of them. You can't phone them or send a message. I need my mother's medicine, 82 years old. I do not recommend this service to anybody.

I have since ordered my sons chronic medication on the 29/01 however it is still not delivered This is poor service and life threatening for my son as i am now blocked and cannot order more from my medical aid.... Please urgently get this delivered today MedExpress

I'm very surprised to see the low ratings for Medexpress. I've been using them for years and have had no issues, only service that's above and beyond. Only issue is one cannot call them direct. You need to contact Discovery and they will submit a call back request. I ran out of chronic medication on Tuesday evening. I submitted an order on the Discovery app but by Thursday the meds weren't delivered yet so I have been 1 day without meds. A lady by the name of Lanecia, who introduced herself as the client relations manager called me. I explained the situation and she arranged collection of the meds at a pharmacy. She asked me which was closest to me and called a few pharmacies to check for stock and got back to me saying that she found stock and I can collect before 5pm that day. I've had a similar experience with Medexpress before and I get the sense that they endeavor to resolve the query on the day, and they want to ensure that you have your meds on time.

Medexpress is the best thing to happen to local pharmacies! You never get your 6th repeat from Medexpress due to various delayed deliveries over the preceding 6 months so the 6 months from date of script expires and you end up with only 5 repeats. Like mentioned below, always a reason for some call or other “before” your repeat can be dispatched. Been back to my local pharmacy, no delays.
