I bought a Samsung Z Fold 7 in September vis MTN contract. I have had the phone for just over 5 months. I have put a protective case on the the device as well as a screen protector, as this is a business contract. 2 weeks ago I opened the phone 9which was perfect until that moment) except for a small scratch on the side of the device from my wedding ring. Th screen started flashing and then went dead. I restarted the phone and there was a green line. I turned the phone off and later the day I turned it on and noticed that the screen was completely dark and that small cracks had appeared in the fold. within hours the cracks got larger and the screen started bubbling and lifting. I contacted MTN, my service provider which assured my that my phone was still under warranty. I was instructed to take it to SSS Cellular in Boksburg as they are the repair agents for Samsung. I took the phone in for assessment and repair. I was contacted 3 days later and given a quote of R19000.00 for repair as the phone screen was cracked. I was also told that the frame was bent. It was communicated to me that I must have dropped the phone or sat on the phone whilst in my pocket. I have never dropped the phone nor do I put phones in my pocket. It has never happened. I contacted Samsung South Africa ... The manager from the MTN store contacted Samsung... The only reply we get is it is being investigated... I paid the R19000.00 as I need the phone urgently for work. Was told yesterday that I could collect the phone at 08:00 from SSS Cellular Boksburg. I arrived to be told that the phone didnt pass quality control and that the front screen now has dead pixels. SSS Cellular will submit a report to Samsung. That Fold was taken care of and all these things are going wrong with it!!! I think either the range of phones has pathetically weak build quality, or there was a batch of defective phones. I want R19.000 refunded to me for the repair, and I want Samsung to issue me with a new phone. I will immediately sell the Samsung phone and will by an iPhone or an Honor phone, which has obviously already surpassed Samsung on quality and popularity. I have used Samsung phones for over 20 years, and this is the eventuality of Brand loyalty. No more! Everyone should avoid Samsung devices. Their after sale service is **********. I will be replacing everyones phone in my company from a Samsung device to and iPhone or an Honor device
Ordered the rain 55gig package from Afrihost. Package was delivered on Monday but was informed Afrihost had incorrect ID number on system. I immediately sent through all RICA documents and had my ID corrected. Was told that the courier would be contacted and details changed. Have contacted Afrihost over 7 times. Total of 3 hours waiting for calls to be attended to. Told each time they are still changing the details. Today was told that the package was cancelled and that I would have to reapply. Except now R999 is payable on router which was free when i applied last week. Worst Service from afrihost staff. So bitterly disappointed. Guess it's time to change business and personal accounts to another service provider.
I ordered a iPhone 6 Plus from Telkom in September 2015. The phone never arrived. I told them to cancel my order. They then delivered a phone to my office at the end of October. No one signed for it, it was simply delivered. I called Telkom and told them I did not want the phone and they would have to collect it. I was informed they would collect after the weekend. On the monday I called them and they informed me that they would collect the handset. On the Tuesday, a courier arrived with anotherhandset. I said I didnt want either and was instructed to give the previous handset to the courier. He then left and I have neighbors to witness the entire thing. I have been debited every moth since then... I dont have a phone or a contract with your company... Im disgusted at your service and will never do business with you ever again. I have discouraged many from using your network and will continue to do so. If this is not sorted within the week, I will be contacting ICASA and I will be putting the story out on SOCIAL MEDIA in a HUGE way. Get this sorted! Pathetic service! I received another account in the post today! i will certainly have the debit order blocked!
I ordered a iPhone 6 plus from TELKOM last year. The phone was out of stock and I received nothing for over a month. I contacted telkom to let them know I didn't want it as I renewed a contract with MTN (a far more superior network). Two weeks later a handset was delivered to my office. (CONNEXIONS CHURCH - Ordered by Connexions Church) I contacted Telkom and instructed them to collect the handset as I was no longer interested. It took them 4 days to send a courier to collect the handset. The Courier arrived and instead of collecting the handset from me had wanted to deliver a second handset. A service center agent requested that I five the handset to the Courier and that both handsets would be returned to Telkom and the account would be closed. This was October. I am receiving monthly accounts for R499. I contacted Telkom which informed me that the account was cancelled. I received another account this month. I went into a Telkom Store and the query was forwarded to head office. I have heard nothing since then. Telkom, once again you are involved in bad business practice. Please sorry this out immediately. I will never do business with you ever again! Pathetic service.
I upgraded my contract with MTN in October. The new contract includes 100 minutes 500 MB Data and 200 sms. For two months I received 100 minutes 100MB data and no SMS'. I See MTN has no issue charging for a service they don't provide. I am being charged for the bundles but am being cheated out of them. Please correct immediately!
So disappointed with Orange. I purchased a Moto 360 Second Gen 46mm watch on the 23rd December 2015 for over R6000. I was informed via email that the shipping would take 6 days. That put its arrival on South Africa on the 29th December. I was told it would take 2 days from the South African warehouse to my place in Johannesburg. I tracked the progress almost daily and via the tracking it said that the watch had arrived on the 29th. Then I saw on the 29th that it would take another 4 days. On the 29th December I called head office and was contacted by someone who assured me that the watch was in South Africa but was at customs. I was assured that the watch would be released from customs soon and would then be delivered to the warehouse in South Africa. I kept on tracking the watch via the tracking route supplied. Suddenly on the 30th it said that expected delivery was now 4 days. Does Orange have any idea how to track their own shipping? Today I checked (4 days later) and I am informed that it will still take 4 days for the watch to arrive???? I emailed and called Orange and not a single response in 6 days. I have waited too long and want that watch! Orange, disgusting service!!!!!
I have a number of product with Afrihost. I have supported them since they started their mobile data offering. I recently added a Mobile Call product to my account. Last month there was an error on Afrihost system when receiving payment for my account as the feedback I received was that I had insufficient money in my account. I checked and had ample. I then tried to delete the credit card from Afrihost by it would not allow me to delete. I added a Mastercard to their accounts system and tried to link my products to that card. It said that there was an error and this couldnt happen. In the mean time the previous credit card has expired and afrihost tried to deduct the fee from an expired card, even though I tried using their \superior experience"clientzone. I was charged R50 penalty and recieve daily sms's and emails informing me to log into clientzone and update my details so they can proccess the order. I have called the client services and they are unable to adjust the system either. So here we go... I will cancel at the end of the month and I will not use this service again. Disappointed you get this service from a company you support. Gian"
I purchases a Chromecast from Orange months ago. When I received the product I opened it and it was faulty out of the box. I contacted orange and opted to return it. They collected it a few days later. It has been two months and I have not heard the outcome. I have not been refunded. I have no Chromecast. I was told about the incredible service that Orange gives to customers. Naturally I was wrong!
Ive had enough! I ordered a R499 iPhone 6 plus and was kept waiting for weeks as Telkom was out of stock. I contacted them and told them to cancel the order and went to MTN (a superior network in every way). Weeks later an iPhone was delivered to my staff at my office. No ID provided, No Rica documents provided. I immediately contacted Telkom and said to come collect the phone. 5 days later I receive an sms that they will be delivering the phone to me. They arrive on a Monday with another iPhone. I tell the delievery company I dont want it and he says he was instructed to collect the phone that I had via sms. I gave him the phone and he leaves. I was charged before they delivered the phone without my authorisation. I was charged R962 this morning and I dont have a phone with Telkom. I will be reporting you to ICASA. I will be having the R962 returned to my account today. It seems know one knows how to do their job at Telkom and departments dont speak. I certainly hope Telkom does not aquire Cell C as they will screw up a reasonable good company. TELKOM, Cancel this Account immediately! You are committing FRAUD on my bank account! The Telephone Number that was sent is 081 555 7577.
Almost a month and a half ago my office applied for a contract for me with Telkom. After three weeks no handsets where available. I listed Telkom on HelloPeter and sent emails multiple times as well as listed multiple complaints on Facebook. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE FROM TELKOM. SIMPLY AN EMAIL STATING THAT MY QUERY WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE RIGHT DEPARTMENT AND FEEDBACK WILL BE SENT. This has not happened once out of the approximate 8 complaints I listed on HelloPeter. Telkom's Sale force team contacted me and gave me the same offer of the iPhone 6 plus for R499. I was told that they had stock and I would receive my handset in 3 days. R499 was debited from my account without my permission. a week later I still had no handset. I contacted Telkom Sales department and told them to keep the handset and refund my R499. They delivered the handset the next day to the wrong address but to my staff.. I immediately contacted Telkom and said I wanted them to collect the phone and refund my money. I was sent a cancellation form. sent it through to Telkom immediately and have not heard a word since. I resent the email yesterday. Still not a word! I want my money, you get your phone! I'm Disgusted!
