Just Phoned in to check when my contract expires.............unable to assist because I failed the security questions. One of the questions was what my email address was & I failed. I gave them basic information like home address etc and they couldn't verify me. I live on a farm outside Parys and there is no office to assist in Parys so my nearest town is Vanderbijlpark which is at least 45 minutes away. The app didn't even work the first time i tried it. Human or Ai cant seem to help. All i wanted to know is when my upgrade is or the way i feel now when can i cancel my contract if Vodacom cant help me sort out such a small issue.
Shocking experience with a consultant at Discovery he refused to give us his name after we have been transferred from one consultant to the next 3 different departments, made it sound like we knew what we were doing when we are the patient not the Dr or Discovery consultant, i expect him to advise me, very rude.. he never sorted the issue and just passed us off onto the next person who was actually helpful and has promised to come back to us. I would like to hear from Discovery on what happens with rude staff members as i don't feel enough is being done to deal with rude discovery personnel. He never resolved my issue either. He shouldnt be dealing with customers at all. I called at 11hoo 26 January he never gave me a ref or his name for this call that i was on for over 1 hr 30 minutes from one consultant to the next.
I opened an account online on the 31st July 2025 - went in to the Bank in Parys on the 1st Aug to collect my card dealt with Matilda consultant and she said she required a copy of my ID & proof of residence which I gave her. 1 Week later my account is still not active. Once again shocking service, I've taken this up with the manager twice and said he would resolve it with the staff. Teller 5/6 cashiers name neo, nothing wrong with Neo we had to pack our groceries while the staff stood talking at the other tellers. You will see a lady walking around with a customer service sash on, and doesn't attend to the problem. Standard Bank Lounge at the airport you can take 1 person in with you when I flew down to CT on the 6th March I asked at reception at the Lounge can I do the same thing in CT and they said yes on both occasions. Currently at Bidvest Lounge on behalf of Standard bank previously never had to pay for my wife. Shocking service had to wait 40 minutes before someone even answered the call. They close at 1600 answered just before. Was told I'm caller 63 in the queue. Then he cuts me off and politely puts me through to rate their service dept after not even being assisted with the internet banking problem..... Dialed 0108242966
