It's a pity we have to rate their service, I would honestly give them zero stars for their service, Especially a "gentleman" by the name of Nceba Sihlali - he thinks he's above everyone....... Disgusting and so uncalled for. I'm happy that I don't work there or for Standard Bank.
OK, I'm a frequent complainer with regards to Standard Bank. And I intend to be one as long as necessary, The "ombudsman" doesn't exist - just assistants. I always wonder where this person is hiding? Not paying out a policy because there was a "language problem" should be looked at from both sides. Not only from the Bank's side. But apparently they are know for not paying out policies........so they'll accept your money monthly, but will look for every loophole not to pay. People we're talking about R311 000!! It's pocket change for them, but for me.........it would mean so, so much.
Hi there Standard Bank...... I doubt you find the time the answer this "complaint" You are so busy paying penalties :) I am just feeling so sad that my late husband's money was good enough to collect every month; but come payday. No, no, we will not settle. Although the Bank's "representitive" is as incompentant as they come. So, the situation remains a dire one - I have to have the house painted, repaired ets..... But SB doesn't care. Like someone said the other day - they will do anything NOT to pay a claim. You will NOT look for an fair reason to apy. Your service is schocking.
ALL I need from them is a statement for my home loan. I'm just not getting it. WHY, WHT??
Oh dear, we go again..... I am sooooo sick of Standard Bank. Its becoming a real pain in the butt...... On Thursday I was contacted by Standard Bank (my credit card is in arrears, but I've been on Debt Review since Jan 2024). I was spoken to a lady by the name Nodumiso. NEVER in my entire life has someone been so rude to me. After a while she was actually shouting "LISTEN TO ME NOW" I actually could not belive that I was spoken to. A call centre agent is not supposed to speak to a client in that manner. It doesn't matter matter what the case is. I whish it was different, but with Standard Bank anything is possible.
Oh wow!!! Pathetic is an understatement - they are totally useless!!! I hang on for them to answer a call for half an hour..........How is a person supposed to speak to them and sort out a problem? People, if possible, stay away.
I'm not sure to which Ombutsman I should send my complaint. All I know is that he/she is way past useless.......
Ongelukkig kan ek nie dieselfde sê van hierdie maatskappy nie. My saak is al 7 maande by hulle, maar ek weet nog nie wat aangaan nie. Ongelukkig nie. Die banke s***el my nog steeds, ek is al moedeloos verby.
I am an "oldie" complaning about this company. I told them it will be that way. People, Standard Bank really doesn't care about any clients (OK, maybe about 100 or so) The people who don't have money and really need payouts, aren't important to them. They will in fact, try every thing to not pay a claim. I lost my husband to Covid........and the sales person didn't know what he was doing. So, instead of paying me the money my late husband "paid" towards contributions, they are not paying, but rather keeping the *********** sales person!!! Maybe to sell more policies to people who cannot understand him. And, by the way, it's not a HUGE policy at all. There's no feeling for customers whatsoever. And I am trying to get hold of the Ombutsman, but just keep receiving feedback from an assistant...........
Gregory is simply the BEST. Worked on our problem until it was sorted. Is always a pleasure to ask him for help. I always hope he gets the call 😁
