I had a complaint about old mutual regarding my policy insurance so I have complained to Ombudsman they keep on telling me stories each and every time I talk to them regarding the complaint I have lodged.. Please help

Zokaymi miniture long haired Dachshunds I am writing to share my disappointing experience with a breeder. In June, I made a payment of R3,800 into her account as a deposit for a puppy. Due to personal reasons, I canceled my booking, and she agreed to refund me by August 8. However, after numerous messages, I realized she had no intention of refunding me, claiming she had used the funds for chemotherapy. I proposed an alternative solution, offering to take the puppy instead, only to be informed that the puppy had escaped and died. I again offered a solution, suggesting I take a puppy from her current litter. Subsequently, I discovered she was in the process of selling the puppy. After persistent messaging, she transferred R500 into my account, and since then, she has ignored my calls and messages. Moreover, she claimed to be KUSA registered, which. appears to be false. She resides in Nigel and is known as Lettie Loots or Lettie Basson. I am seeking advice on how to proceed with this matter please. I do have evidence.

It's a pity we have to rate their service, I would honestly give them zero stars for their service, Especially a "gentleman" by the name of Nceba Sihlali - he thinks he's above everyone....... Disgusting and so uncalled for. I'm happy that I don't work there or for Standard Bank.

I had lodged two complaints against the Insurance company with the office of the ombudsman long term insurance company which has been lodged in 2023. It appears often my experience with the case administrator and adjudicator since 2023 has not been investigated. I had then started to email and call the office of the ombudsman for feedback on my complaint. After several telephone calls and emails the adjudicator who was investigating my case when I asked for any progress or feedback became rude to me on email. Her provisional ruling lacked thorough investigation failing to read the terms and conditions, exclusions, and looking into case law studies to assist with my claim. Sonya Marais was very biased . She failed to apply the long term policy holder protection rules . Her provisional ruling or investigation was not in keeping of a learned knowledgeable ombudsman. People like her to are rude and take almost years to provide feedback is unacceptable . We need ombudsman who know insurance law , one who can investigate and case and look into critical information where necessary.

PPS continues to debit my account monthly during this extended period of 'review'. One wonders if the Ombudsman and PPS are working together? Is there monetary gain on either side or both sides , with clients still being debited for premiums during the extended review process . Why aren't premiums stopped during the review process and resumed once an outcome has been reached? PPS is making tons of money during these review periods as most professional cancel their policies once an outcome is reached.

I did have issues for poor service by hollard insurance company. And they admitted thier wrong in writing and I did take them to ombudsman .and i was in the office in Johannesburg to open the case .and they told me 30 days and I will get the answer.then I wait now over 3 months and nothing happen at all except senting emails to me to try to support hollard side .I believe they working together because of that they want me to loose my right .I did sent too many email which I received from hollard they apologize about thier poor service for many years .and the email state i didn't receive good service even they try to offer me diffrent offer to drop the matter.but I refuse. All what I ask them pay my money back which I pay for 3 life policy and disability policy .even i get injured in my spin 2 years ago and I didn't find even office for hollard to claim .I don't know does ombudsman support them for thier mistakes. Or .............

when it comes to making a complaint against a mighty opponent like Discovery the so called ombud will fill your head with what you did or didnt do , so they make it look like its your fault why you lose the claim ,its easy for them that way. Very suspicious dealings

Today's live in south africa the ombudsman sided with the banks because the banks own governments, lawyers, police think of it and they do have them in their "pockets" the servants of the public, are delusional and call them selfs "elite", what is "elite"it is a bunch of PARASITES spanging on the public. The people must take their own power back from the servants of the public any shape, form or position, they have been employed by us, to serve us but they don't they are all in it for their own gain of power and wealth all about making money out of the public.
