Late last year, I emailed Cartrack to change banking details. A consultant called and confirmed the change of banking details. I noticed that the debit order for Catrack went through on a different date and for a much larger amount. I reversed the debit order and informed them. I was told that my banking details were linked to another client, and I was paying his account, whilst mine was in arrears. Despite asking them to investigate and correct the mixup, a second debit order went off again for a different client and for a different amount, but my account remained in arrears. To date, I have not received any correspondence in this regard. Instead, numerous Cartrack consultants call me daily, regarding outstanding payments. I requested them to send me correspondence via email, but they do not. They only communicate via cellphone. None of them have any notes on their system regarding my issue and no one from Senior Management has attempted to address this issue. Their lack of proper and accurate records, is costly for me as the client. This case is clearly a misuse and abuse of client's banking details which are meant to be confidential. I refuse to pay someone else's Cartrack account whilst mine is in arrears. I am awaiting a response from Cartrack . They have issued summons without any proper investigation or communication regarding my case. Will update you soon.
Forest fairies coconut wheel was my all time favourite. Not anymore. I recently bit into a Forest Fairies coconut wheel and felt something hard in my mouth. I thought it was a nut. On closer inspection, it was a tooth, and it definitely wasn't mine. I felt upset thinking about the germs that I had consumed, and had to throw up several times. I contacted Forest Fairies on their wattsapp number and was told that they would collect the sample. I work, so I had to arrange for a suitable time for them to collect. In the interim, I was expecting a courtesy call apologizing for the mishap, and a reassurance, that there would be stricter hygiene measures put in place to curb a repetition of this incident. However, after several requests for a phone call, a customer service personnel, Mikyle, called me. He did not give a surname and called from a private number. He was rude and adamant that my claim was questionable, in other words "I was lying". He did not want to listen to anything I had to say and dropped the call. I sent them a wattsapp regarding that call, however, I have not heard from them since. I still have the tooth in my possession. All I wanted was an apology for this mishap, and a reassurance that there would be an improvement in hygiene measures to prevent any similar incidents. Forest Fairies lack professionalism in dealing with customer complaints and need to review their manufacturing process. I will definitely not be supporting Forest Fairies in the future, and neither will my family and friends.
Matadoor Salvage is a very shady company. My husband was looking for spares for a BMW X5 F15, and was contacted by Kershan, the owner's son who gave him a quote for the parts he required. According to him, all parts he quoted on were available. My husband arranged for transport from Durban to Muldersdrift in Roodepoort to fetch the spares. When he arrived at their premises, Kershan showed him some parts and most were incorrect. Kershan then left and the salesman had to continue checking for the spares. The few parts that they did have and had quoted on, had suddenly increased in price. You have to wait while they contact the owner, Ray, for the prices. They are not a transparent and reliable company to do business with.
RMI approved workshops are just an endor*****t to attract customers, when it comes down to holding these workshops accountable for shoddy workmanship, poor customer services and other issues they cannot act. My vehicle went into SADieselec in Umgeni Business Park for repairs in September 2019. To date, my car has not been repaired and returned to me. I have reported this case to Robin Naidoo from RMI in Durban, however, he tried to mediate between SADieselec and myself. This mediation did not yielded any positive results. What's the use of having an organisation like RMI if they cannot hold companies they register as "RMI approved" accountable? My experience with SA Dieselec has really changed my opinion of RMI approved workshops. They are dishonest and charge for spares that they don't change, they remove expensive parts from my vehicle and replace it with cheap parts, they remove accessories and didn't return them to me, they charge for services that they don't actually carry out , they charge exorbitant prices for services and parts and have no respect for customers or their vehicles. Also, your vehicle goes in for one problem, but ends up with other, very costly, problems. This is my experience with an RMI approved workshop. I have sent an email to RMI and SADieselec regarding my vehicle being repaired and returned to me, but have not received any positive feedback. RMI approved workshops are supposed to be highly reputable and efficent with top notch customer satisfaction and high quality workmanship, but, clearly this is not the case.
