I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication from Tempest Car Rental regarding a vehicle I returned on 15 February. When I returned the car, there was a small dent on the fender. This was not caused by an accident, it appears that someone may have leaned on the vehicle. I have sent emails asking: How long the mechanic’s assessment and repairs will take. They informed me after I called on 20 February 2026. Whether a claim has been submitted to insurance How much excess, if any, will be deducted from my security deposit To date, I have received no response. The complete lack of communication is unacceptable. As a customer, I expect transparency and timely updates, especially when it involves potential deductions from my deposit. I would appreciate urgent feedback on this matter so that it can be resolved fairly and without further delay.
Disappointed in Poetry online. They advertise payday weekend with extra 25% off sale items. I buy a dress online and did not get a confirmation email and the order does not appear on my profile. I realised that even with another order I placed earlier in the year the confirmation email only came in following day. On Monday I contact them and they said I should email proof of payment, I did. the following day someone says they have been allocated my case and will escalate it to finance for them to confirm if they received the funds. Yesterday they send me an email to say that, they were able to locate the funds/payment however they are not able to process the order as their system does not allow. They then processed a refund, informed the lady that that I do not want the refund as I want the dress. Their system problem is not my problem but then to resolve. Not even a suggestion that there is a store that has the item I can get it there. Lee-Anne then ignored all my emails
Skynet the worst courier company in 2025. The tracking system said ‘ out on delivery’ at 07:33 this morning and nothing was delivered the whole day. I have been tracking the parcel and even called the customer service and requested for a call back and no one called. I waited even after 17:00 hoping that the person would deliver but in vain. The delivery status changed a 17:11 to ‘consignee not available’ no one came into my address and no one contacted me. They are closed and will open on Monday. Skynet Cape Town
This case is still under investigation in the company's Forensic Services. The policy was open with my details and without my consent. I never signed any forms, apparently the person is under an insurance Broker. I just need my refund as the funds debited on 14 March on my payslip. I have sent numerous emails to Serv Complaints but nothing.
Old mutual, I just received my payslip from my employer for December 2024. There is a deduction of R361 and it has a reference. I did not even bother calling or going to a branch because this is not the first time a policy is created on my name. Kindly investigate this and contact me.
Cancelled a policy in July and I was informed that they will still deduct for up to 3 months from our payroll. The refund for August was quick but for September it was back and forth until I wrote a review here and they paid immediately. I sent an email asking when will I get the refund for October because they deducted on 26 October. On the email I was also asking on when the stop order will stop, they only replied to the stop order and said nothing about my refund. The email was sent to Penny Cellere and no response about my refund
Sanlam Sky is the worst. I had a policy with them which I cancelled in July 2022, they are still debiting on payslip to date. The refund for July was received in Augut after I had to complete the refund form. I was also informed that they can not cancel the stop order immediately and that it will take them up to 3 months to stop debiting. So in August the call centre agent I spoke with said the the refund will be automated and I got the refund on the 8 September of the following month. Now I have been calling them for the refund for September and they saying it has not been done. The date is the 10th and a refund for the 26 September has not been payout
Nedbank Queenstown branch We made our investment with Nedbank and the financial advisor allocated to us apparently also works with Old Mutual. We invested a n invested for a long period and also one with monthly allowances. We have been experiencing problems as a result we did not get the scheduled payments for 2 months now. We are students and depend entirely on this money. We have been unable to even buy food because of this inconvenience.
Karabo parking management is scam for making money. Six vehicles were clamped around the same time in the 2nd floor parking in Picbel Building Cape Town CBD. The signs are not visible and on the actual parking bay the sign is hanging on the roof, who looks up when driving? There is no one actually telling oncoming vehicles about this since the signs are not visible. So how can 6 people not see the instruction if its visible enough? So we had to pay R300 for our car to be released. Karabo Parking Management is just making money by clamping vehicles
Old Mutual South Africa...apparently one of their representatives opened a policy on my name without my knowledge. I have never even requested a quotation from them, that person has my identity number, employee number, my mothers name but the address and contact numbers are not ours on the policy details. I noticed in September 2019 when on my payslip and went to the Cape Town Adderly street branch. They were suppose to investigate the case, cancel the policy and refund me. I did the refund request and i was refunded for the month of September however the policy deducted again in O ctober and November 2018 and policy was not cancelled. Went to the same branch on Wednesday last week for refund and cancel the policy, they said the refund takes 5 days. Its been 6 days and I have not been refunded nor have they concluded the investigation. I was considering savings for my childs education but after this experience I dont want anything to do with them. I am sure they will deduct in December again. So so so ****ed off
