I’ve been trying to buy items online for a few days now. The website is not allowing me to check out and pay.Sadly most of my items are unavailable now due to this issue! This is such an inconvenience. I see clients had issues in May as well, it’s September now. What is going on?????
I was really looking forward to travel with shosholoza meyl (December 2020) which we booked with South African Railways. We drove to Johannesburg for 2 hours to take the train, ONLY to be informed at the ticket counter that the trains have been canceled! What a disappointment!(SINCE the travel agent knew about the canceled trains 1 week prior) Why was this not communicated with the passengers earlier? We were told by shosholoza meyl that we needed to apply for a refund though the agent we booked with. I have communicated with the agent numerous times. 3 months later and we are still waiting.
I have a Samsung A51 phone that just keeps on repeatedly restarting. I have tried a factory reset on the phone which has not fixed the problem. My phone is 13 months old so still within the Samsung 24 month warranty, however, I am finding that it is extremely difficult to have the phone repaired under warranty, especially for someone that does not live in a major centre. I have taken my phone to Telkom where I bought it, and they tell me that they only cover a 1 year Telkom warranty. I have booked the phone in at my local Vodacom store, who have sent the phone to Vodacom Repairs in Nelspruit who then sent the phone back without repairing it (and the reason is not clear since the proof of purchase was sent to them). So this past weekend I made the decision to take the 2 hour drive to Johannesburg to take the phone to an official Samsung store. They did tell me that if the software reset didn't fix the phone that I need to have it repaired. I was then informed that they cannot repair the phone under warranty and that I need to take it to MM All Electronics as they are the only ones that deal with warranty repairs. They also informed me that they cannot book the phone in and send it to MM All because I didn't purchase the phone at the Samsung store. By that time, MM All Electronics was already closed for the weekend and now I am still left with an unusable phone. It is an expensive exercise to drive up and down to Johannesburg, so I am very disappointed that the Samsung warranty isn't covered by the official Samsung store and by the retailers selling Samsung phones. I've been a user of Samsung phones for 15 years, and I am very disappointed with this type of service. What is the point of having a 24 month warranty if it is not accessible without incurring expenses to get the phone to the ONE repair centre that deals with warranty repairs??
Hi,<br> <br> We bought my wedding ring at Sterns Bayside mall in Dec 2014, we took out insurance on this ring.<br> <br> In May I realized that a diamond is missing, I took it to Sterns & the shop assistant said that the diamond is lower than all the other diamonds, and that it needs to be repaired(she took the ring with the purchase slip)<br> <br> No feed back from Stern I call them in July & they said they can't repair it, IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.<br> sterns fell silent again. I called them in August & they said they found me a new ring it needs to be resized.<br> <br> 3 weeks later & still no word from sterns.<br> I called & spoke to Patrick(current manager) he said they wont be able to resized the new ring.(HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE SINCE THE PREVIOUS RING WAS RESIZED??????)<br> <br> He said he will follow up with with them.<br> 5 days later I got a call to say I can collect my \NEW RING"<br> <br> upon closer inspection I realized that Sterns gave me BACK my DAMAGED ring!!<br> <br> HOW PATHETIC!!!!<br> The ring is insured"
