If you ever want to buy insects for your chameleons/beardies/geckos or the like, Feeders for Africa is the place to go. There prices are the best I could find, the insects are good quality, and they arrive well packed and alive. Apart from that they are friendly, honest and trustworthy. I will most definitely keep on buying from them.
I bought several items from them on 14 September 2023. Today is 22 September 2023, I received no items and no communication. They don't answer phones and don't respond to e-mails. Any idea what to do?
The new R30 shipping is great for buyers but sellers get *****ed even more than they were before. They used to take a percentage of the shipping fee as well as a percentage of the item price, now they take a flat rate of an extra R30 from the sellers account. Will these money hungry vultures never stop? I'm deleting my account after 22 years, they made thousands off me every month. I had enough.
On 8 August 2022 we bought ten sixpacks milk as we do every month. The price on the shelf is R 28 for two boxes. When it scanned more at the till I told the lady that a sixpack should scan R 84. After consultation with her manager I was told that the reduced price is for loose boxes only, so I must take 60 loose boxes if I want the reduced price. I asked her if they were joking as I can just open one sixpack and then she can scan it and multiply it with 60. She said no, I have to replace the sixpacks and take loose boxes. So I replaced the sixpacks and took loose boxes, there were only 40 odd boxes, so she called a guy over that stacked the shelves to open sixpacks and hand me the loose boxes. When I walked to the till, the guy stocking the shelves opened all the sixpacks that I returned to the pallet and stocked the shelves with it. What is becoming of this country? Is there no more normal people out there? Where do they get their managers? Are they trained to be spiteful and stupid? Will buy my milk somewhere else in future, where the managers have a bit of common sense and decency.
On 28 November 2021 I bought a Safeway kettle at Clicks in Heiderand, Mosselbay for a flat that we bought to rent over holidays. The people that stayed in the flat said that the kettle does not work so we took them another one. The Safeway kettle was returned to its box with the receipt and placed on the kitchen cupboard. I eventually remembered to take it in on 08 August 2022 as it was still new and under guarantee. We took it back to Langeberg mall Clicks in Mosselbay where we were told that although the box looks new and the kettle looks new and unused they cant take it back as it scans 1c. The transaction slip is for R 239.00. According to the lady the kettle is more then 5 years old. They refused to help us any further. I want to know what am I supposed to do with a brand new/unused kettle that does not work? I returned it in its original box with the transaction slip and its still in the guarantee period. This is the kettle that I bought from Clicks, its a black Safeway as stated on the transaction slip and it is in an unused condition.
I tried changing my girlfriends surname back to her maiden name. After several e-mails, phone calls and documents that were mailed we received no reply. We call and tell our story to the person answering the call just to receive the same response, mail us your fica documents and wait. We mail the documents and wait, nothing, we call, the lady says ok she will forward the documents to the fica department and get back to us. Sure, today we call again and explain the situation to a female. We tell her that my girlfriend surname is van Dyk, she insists on calling her Mrs. Steyn. Do you have any idea how frustrating that is? That surname opens up a can of worms every time it is used. We reach our limit of how much we can take and ask that the account be closed if they refuse to change the surname. We are informed that the system is off-line so the account can't be closed. What should we do to change the surname? Just how difficult can it be? Since we requested the change the first time 2 months have passed. Great service?? ??
My girlfriend reverted to her maiden name, after three visits to the Langeberg mall branch we eventually changed her surname on all the accounts. No-one tells you that you have to ask to change the surname on every account. We gave Tracey her savings account card so only the savings account was changed. We went back for the home loan and credit card and was asked for Fica documents. We said that she scanned all the documents a day back but she insisted that she needs everything again. So back we went after we drove all the way home to collect the paperwork. The sms's that you receive when you pay via credit card is still on the old surname. We phoned the branch on 04 March and was told by Tracey that it was no problem, just come in with all the usual paperwork and she will fix it. We went in on 05 March and the lady on the far left helped us. She said it is impossible to fix as you can't change a client code. When we said Tracey said it was possible she (Tracey) denied it. A consultant was called and she said she would log a request and will get back to us in two days. The sms's are still in my girlfriends old surname and it is becoming a real nuisance. In this day and age do you really want to tell me you can't change a surname on a system? The consultant said even if we close all my girlfriends accounts with ABSA and open new accounts it will still be in her old surname. Her surname was changed at Internal Affairs, SARS, she received a new ID but ABSA can't change a stupid surname, how do you trust them with you finances?
Hi, I keep on receiving calls from some attorneys saying they calling on behalf of MTN for an outstanding account to the value of -+R 1500. I have a pay as you go with MTN and I don't owe any money to anybody. I can't call 173 as a recording says the number does not exist, if I call 808 and opt to speak to a service champion or what ever they are called a recording says I called too many time and should call again next month. I only called once to 808. How can I owe money on a pay as you go? These people are harassing me and putting my job in jeopardy. I was sleeping for a night shift when they called me today on my private, unlisted home number. This is getting ridiculous, how do I stop this harassment?
