I moved my insurance over to Discovery Insure coming up for a year ago. I have must received my annual renewal notice and my premium is increasing by over 25% - this despite no claims in the year and no changes on the policy. I have requested explanations and have received a stream of emails that sprout forth theoretical blurbs and the rest but absolutely no facts to justify a 25% increase in my premium! I cannot believe that a company like Discovery can just send so much meaningless ******* out to try and justify this increase. Could it be that they drop their rates to catch you as a client and then at the first opportunity smack their rates up? Whatever the reason it is not acceptable - I will be looking to move my insurance for sure.
Was very disappointed with the selection of food from on offer - other than cheese (very average ones) and one other dish - everything else on offer was basically vegan. I am very happy that there are good offerings for vegans - we have quite a few within our family - and I realize that all too often their offerings are limited. However to have no sandwich / roll offering other that vegan is very limited. The cake options are also all open - pretty dry by the time you get to try them.
I have had 3 experiences with Brandon and Fix My Apple - every time he has gone out of his way to help me and has been able to sort out my problems - would definitely never hesitate to go back or recommend his services.
My 2010 Macbook Pro was almost unusable because it had become so slow. It would freeze 4 or 5 times everyday. I was lucky enough to find Fix My Apple online and in no time i had my laptop back - flying again and very usable again. What a pleasure! Speedily, professionally and affordably - was an absolute pleasure to deal with Brandon. Thank you.

I started doing an online shop and encountered a problem. i sent 2 emails to get a resolve the problem - one on 5 April at 9:15am and the other on 6 April at 11:15am - and up until now I have still not had a response.

Maybe I should start looking at other online shopping options.

I contracted for one of Telkom's Unlimited contracts in November last year. My monthly contract is around R1,600 which includes the phone. The basis of the contract is that I have unlimited voices and data every month - i did get told that if I am an in area with n signal I wouldn't have data but would be able to make calls off the MTN network. I didn't expect a problem here as I spend 95% of my time in and around Joburg.
I found out pretty soon that I spend close to half my day without \Telkom"signal and so I can make calls but I have no data. This is a massive problem for me as I spend a good part of every day on the road and I use my phone for getting and responding to emails and the doing other searches on the net and using Google maps etc. I can obviously top up with extra data but this would mean spending R500 to R600 extra per month on a contract that is supposed to be \""Unlimited\"" - kind of defeats the object.
I went to the Telkom branch and got told that if I had been told about the times when I have no signal it is my problem and nothing they can do about it.
I find it to me a shocking case of misleading advertising if not complete misrepresentation. Never again Telkom"""
