A few years ago Kasey was very efficient in helping solve some issues after our build. I even gave them a 5 star review. At the end of 2021 they did a call out for me and things went badly. I asked them to fix a small leaking ring main pump. Initially they told me it was done except they were short a washer, and they would be back. I had to contact them twice to return and fit the washer, and then it came out that they had actually cracked the pump when removing it, according to them due to rusty connections. Besides this the saddles where they worked weren't re fixed, lagging was left open and some Styrofoam insulation was broken. Generally sloppy work. They didn't take responsibility for cracking the pump, which I can understand and accept. But they charged me for a second call out - R 1'600 (to fit the washer) - which I would never had done if they had been straight from the start. I also bought up that their R 782/hr rate was higher than the IOPSA recommended rates (R350-R750/hr). When I complained about it Kasey wouldn't address my reasoning about why the call out wasn't necessary if they had been straight with me, and only focused on my querying of the rates, which I had only mentioned briefly and moved on from. He finished by saying if I have a problem I should get another plumber. I have paid them R 4950, and they have left me with much worse problems then I started with - and they clearly don't even care enough to try and understand why this would upset me.
They sold my bike. When they got an offer they offered me my bare minimum, and after what I have now been through with them I regret agreeing to it. After the sale I asked them to sell my 10 year old fabric bike jacket that was in mint condition, as it had only been used about 20 times. Price R 1'800. I thought it would take a while to sell and only returned 6 months later to ask what was happening. They denied ever receiving it. At one stage they offered my half the value. I said okay and then they said they would think about it. I sent bank details anyway. A few weeks later I wrote the story on google reviews. They gave a nice polite reply saying they had offered R 1'000 which I refused, but the offer was still open. I immediately contacted them again and offered to take off the review if they paid the R1000. They immediately went on the offensive and said they weren't prepared to pay me anything and that I was trying to extort money out of them and they were going to take legal action against me. You do the math.
Sold my bike through them. They pushed my price down as far as possible. Then I left my jacket with them to sell and 6 months later when I went back in to ask if it was sold they denied ever receiving it. I can't prove it, because I trusted them enough not to bother about getting a receipt. I stayed calm and explained when I had left it there and they started getting aggressive with me. At least I've learned (1) not to trust so easily and (2) next time to be stronger with my price when selling something.
After writing a hello Peter add Vodacom automatically responds "an agent will get back to you." But it's been 1 week now and they haven't. So - This company "DOES NOT RESPOND" It appears Vodacom just do what they want and don't care about clients in any way
Extremely high quality product. Insulation is incredible. Big sliding doors are solid, yet slide easily. Very sturdy and easy to use locking mechanisms. Add that to the double glazed glass the doors feel like security doors at night. Their team was super helpful and nice to have around during the build. Ten out of ten, one of the top 2 sub contractors we used.
Vodacom quoted us for 7 business contracts, special prices as a price match scenario. We signed, without any delays from our side. They then charged R10-R20 extra per month for each. It only amounts to around R 3000 over 24 months, but the principal feels like white collar crime. When I queried they said the prices had gone up. I have phoned both Refilwe and her team leader, who said she would get back to me and didn't. Plus sent them eight mails which they generally ignore. The time and effort it takes to sort out their incompetence is disgraceful.
My father was in hospital for 4 months and Discovery behaved politely and I believe ethically in handling an array of doctors bills. It can not be easy for them to deal in this environment, and I believe in a country where there is so much inefficiency in large institutions we should appreciate when such a large and important entity runs effectively.
2 installations by Cochrane. Some terrible service getting the 1st order, but eventually came through correct months late. Installation was okay as well. But afterwards the account was a complete mess. Took months and dozens of hours of my time emailing and phoning and complaining to sort out. Second order was an add on. Extremely simple. 3 items in total. One delivery, 1 return of a panel and 2 posts to credit. Asked for my credit. Nobody was interested. Starting sending mails and phoning. Eventually a nice lady started to help. They said I owed money for items I hadn't (1) ordered (2) ever seen (3) didn't even know what they were (4) they couldn't even tell me what they were. My 4 year old could reconcile this account it is so simple. After about 30 hours of e-mails etc..... I now have arranged to meet them on site to show them what they themselves installed.<br> But the product is very nice.
