My wife took out a funeral policy with this bank and the first premium took place on the last day of November 2023. The one of the people insured happens to pass away on the 11th Nov by accident. We were so sure we had good cover as this has good reputation but little did we know we were up for a nightmare. My family had to bury our cousin and we had to cough out money from our own pocket. The claims process was a night mere in fact still is because we claimed on the 18 Dec and we were told this will be finalised on the 28 Dec, today we are told the same story again. Strangely the investigation only to place on the 28th of dec right an hour before close of business.
Despite repeated emails and phone calls as well as visiting the branch, TERS June and July/August 2020 claims have still not been paid. I have been liaising with different customer service agent from labour and their team leaders in particular team leader by the name Mapule who has been selling me lies that the money has been paid i need to wait and only to find out there not such, all she wanted was to get rid of me TERS have paid everyone in my company except me, Im told my employer needs to verify banking details. My previous employer has been not responding to my emails nor to the correspondence given by UIF team. I need assistance regarding this
I bought airtime from Capitec worth R140 on the 7 of May 2020. to this day the airtime was never loaded to my account. I have exhausted all avenues with capitec following up on this. Im told they are dealing with the third party on this and they dont have a turn around time. This happened during the lock down period and local branches were closed and I have to visit branches outside my area risking my life over R140. I am disappointing because they dont reply to my emails and the calls takes more than R140 from my airtime just waiting for a customer service consultant to pick up

on the 28/10/2015 around 07:40 am, I called Vodacom requesting a sim swap, on my 0799227607. the person who assisted me said i must wait 3 hours if its not done i will have to wait 24 hours.

3 hours later, i get a message saying my number was successfully swapped. within a minute I get a please call from someone i don't know ignored, got a call about 5 minutes later from Vodacom (Aubrey) saying I am using someone else's number.

I told the guy that is impossible, only to find the incompetent agent who helped me earlier sim swapped my number to 0784344820 which i dont even know about. I dont understand because i''ve answered all security questions correctly. I honestly thought at first it was a prank call from one of my friends since it was my birthday. the hole day i was unreachable on my cellphone. my family and friends couldn't find me.

Then i was told to get out of the office go around 30 degree heat of cape town to buy a new sim card. they cancelled my network service in the middle of the call with them. I demand answers

Regards
Sinobom Gudla
