My employer over paid for services when I cancelled my accounts, we also found my account in arrears, its been 3 months trying to get the credit returned to my employer, Telkom mobile help desk do not respond when emailing them and the accounts department just keep closing the tickets each time requesting additional documents, I have done everything they have requested and still find the tickets closed for the same request. Lets try again tomorrow...
I just made a purchase with CompuTicket and it took three attempts, the second attempt failed and the money was returned, the third attempt "I'm hoping" was successful, There is a basket/cart and a transaction page but there isn't any way to see your purchase history to confirm that the transaction was successful!
I just made a purchase online through CompuTicket from Standard Bank, it shows me that the money is missing from my account but doesn't show me any transaction or reference, How am I supposed to confirm a transaction that doesn't reflect?
I had an outstanding amount that I had made arrangements for my current employer to settle, My employer got the wrong outstanding amount and over paid the account. I was requested to get a letter stating that the credit should be paid back to the company that had over paid the original amount. It has been three weeks since the issue was resolved via the paperwork and I am still waiting for my employer to receive the credit back into the account.
Home Loans: I defaulted on two or three months payments, when I was defrauded for quite a bit of money, my personal savings and my business income was linked during this time, so not only did the business suffer but I was personally cleaned out. I contacted Standard Bank and went into the branch, to then discuss the fact that I didn't have the financial means to pay the two/three months outstanding. I was informed by the person whom I spoke to that I just need to continue paying the monthly amount, which since those two/three months, over a year ago, has been the total bond repayment. We where then contacted by a person representing the bank and where told that the arrears outstanding would be reallocated to the current bond and that the monthly repayment would increase buy a few hundred rand and that there was no need to involve lawyers any further. To my dismay I was contacted by a law firm (trying to help our situation), which requested that I do and send certain documentation, which within a few days I did. I then received a registered letter in the post and a gentleman that looked extremely scruffy from a security company, tried to enter my property claiming that he was "here to do an evaluation for Standard Bank", fortunately I was home, unfortunately I'm home trying studding for exams and now have to deal with this situation. This gentleman had no form of identification and was let in by the maintenance manager who followed him to our unit. The gentleman gave us a contact number that has never been a known number of ours. I've been a client of standard bank for as long as I remember, with more than one account and even the business accounts are held by Standard Bank. I then contacted the company that the gentleman relayed and they did confirm that they represent Standard Bank. I am extremely unimpressed with the situation and we found out that the amount that was originally outstanding had doubled due to interests charged per day! When I contacted the law firm representing Standard Bank, I was told that there has been no correspondents from our Simpler Better Faster team!
We purchased a 65" Hisense 3D TV with an extended warranty on the opening day. The warranty was fully paid for on the same day. The start date on the warranty was dated 24/08/2017, which was signed off by the head sales executive, who was there to sign off the specials that day. The TV failed last month and we contacted Dion Wired to see if they could get it assessed under the extended warranty. The Dion Wired representatives couldn't believe that we still had the documentation in almost mint condition and when they looked on their system, they found the warranty was actually cancelled. Dion Wired disputes their contractual obligation due to the fact that the TV was bought in 2013 and the warranty start date is 2017. All I can say about this matter is that; people will do anything to sell you something that they think you'll never enforce. Now its off to the ombudsman to see what can be done!
I bought a Biostar Pro 12 GPU motherboard from Wootware to build a test cryptocurrency mining rig. I bought 8GB Ram, i3 Processor, and an 850 Watt power supply. I used my Corsair 550 Watt power supply first to set up the board, with a few intermittent startup issues, I managed to get the motherboard up and running with one card. I added another card and the system didn't want to start, so I finally moved to my 850 Watt power supply and with tampering on startup issues it blew the motherboard, I sent the board back and during shipping the CPU protector apparently came loose and damaged the CPU socket, I have pictures of a pristine socket before sending the board back. I then purchased another Biostar board and CPU chip and am still experiencing intermittent power on issues even with a 1600 watt power supply all I've plugged in is all the motherboard connectors and a hard drive, the fan spins for 4 seconds and stops "No Power". Biostar and Wootware passed the buck and no one has replaced the first board and processor, I must add that the 850 Watt power supply also stopped working but on inspection from the power supply supplier the fuse didn't blow.
