We made a booking with them time for 2 rooms (1 standard and 1 luxurious) for 3 people, for 26-27 April for a late check-in which was also communicated. They asked that we pay immediately and send pop to secure the booking which was done on the 10th of April. They confirmed receipt of our pop and accommodation booking. We asked to come and collect the keys since we will be at their establishment very late but they couldn't agree to that request as "it wasn't part of their policy". Few hours before leaving our event heading to them in the evening we received a WhatsApp text informing us that "there were technical issues with our room and our booking was cancelled, could we kindly forward them our banking details". We followed up with a call and we were informed that our rooms were fumigated the day before and we couldn't be accommodated. They had ample time to communicate this with us so that necessary plans could be made for alternative accommodation. They were not remorseful and not even willing to assist with a plan B. We sent them banking details but to date we haven't received our refund. For an establishment that requires immediate payment they cannot even process an immediate refund. We had to drive back to Gauteng in the middle of the night putting our lives in jeopardy. We have been calling every day asking for our refund but Mmathapelo, we assume is the receptionist keeps on telling us that management is aware and was shocked that we haven't received our refund as yet. Unprofessional much and what a **** of a business!! They don't even deserve this 1 star rating.
Order still undelivered, communication from my side ignored (calls, emails and whatsapp texts even though production manager is constantly online) A RFQ was requested from them on the 22nd of March for t-shirts, printing and delivery. I went through with the order (paid, sent pop and artwork, and they acknowledged receipt) on account that they were going to deliver on Saturday the 26th because I had an event on the 27th. The production manager called to confirm printing and even suggested extra prinoting effect which we agreed upon. I was truly looking forward to doing business with them being a first time customer. Friday the 25th I checked with Production Manager Thando Mwale regarding delivery time. He said he'll check with the printing dept and return to me on Saturday morning. I stressed that he kindly ensure that delivery is done on the Saturday. To cut the story short, he ignored my calls and texts the entire day on Saturday till to date. An email was sent to them again yesterday the 29th of March (still no response) to request an update at least or a refund, and texts this morning again (30th of March). The manager is online but clearly avoiding me. Please save yourselves the trouble and don't do business with them - SCAM, until they prove themselves otherwise.
Terrible customer service. No communication or acknowledgement of orders and payments. I ordered an African print shirt and paid on the 20th of February, including an extra courier fee of R99 for 2 - 3 day service. Till to date I haven't received the order. I've been trying to reach them via email and their social pages (now blocked from commenting and accessing them) without luck. They eventually replied to my email few days ago indicating that my order has been cancelled on their side and that they will process a refund. I'm still waiting. Over a month later I'm still without the ordered item/refund.
I was double charged for a pizza and no one is willing to assist with a refund after countless requests for assistance.
I applied for a funeral cover with Avbob, before I can receive any confirmation of the policy and documentation they deducted money from my account. I asked them to add more beneficiaries on the cover - my parents were added except for my spouse, they took forever to respond regarding addition of my spouse. I then sent an e-mail with a cancellation letter to their customer service requesting cancellation of my policy on the 23rd September and again on the 30th September - still no response. Money was deducted in October and now in November. <br> <br> I then contacted their call centre on 2nd November and spoke to a lady by the name of Iris. She asked that I fax my bank statement to them for attention: Vinolia. It's the 9th and I haven't received any acknowledgement of receipt of all those documents, cancellation of my policy and confirmation/commitment for a full refund.<br> <br> They are quick to deduct money from people's accounts but provide crappy service!!!!
