On Saturday morning, 29 April 2017 I went to Vodacom Bayside Mall to apply for phone contract. I was informed that they didn’t have stock but was advised to apply so long while waiting for the stock to be delivered the following week. I left my pay slip, 3moths bank statement, a copy of my ID and proof of residence. I was informed that the verdict on my application would be communicated to me via phone within hours to a day or so.

The next day in the evening, 30 April 2017 I went to Century City Vodacom because I suspected (based on their attitude and body language) that Vodacom Bayside Mall might have put my application documents aside and never bothered to put it in their system. The excellent staff member from Vodacom Century City confirmed that there was no application against my ID number in the Vodacom system. Within a couple of minutes she had applied for the contract and it was approved (Yes, I am proud owner of a new phone- thanks to the professionalism of Vodacom Century City)

The next day late afternoon, 1 May 2017 I went back to Vodacom Bayside Mall to fetch copies of my documents and out of curiosity asked the agent about the progress on my application. To my amu*****t she lied straight my face and informed me that my application had been declined due to my bad credit record!!!! (I know she lied to me because I had just got the phone contract a day before and I had another active application on the system!!)

I will never know why Vodacom Bayside Mall lied to me and took me for a fool but I hope they will know that I know that they lied to me.

On the 12th of January 2016, I bought a mechanical part for my Audi at Motorsport Tableview VW branch. The next day I tried to return the part and get my refund as I did not need the part anymore but was told that the part is non-refundable because its cost is below the refundable cost of R270!! (The part I bought cost a total of R293.32-invoice number 653405)
I was told that this was an internal policy!!
My question is:
1. On my invoice, only electrical parts are not returnable. Why is the other terms and conditions not mentioned?
2. Why would an internal policy affecting customers be not made public?
3. Why would VW/Audi not refund parts that are less than R270?
Wednesday 27 January 2016 at 17h30. The lady manager on duty gave me a very bad attitude when I asked I could order pizza. I was the only customer in the shop but everyone seemed busy to care until I asked her If I could be assisted. Instead of engaging me and assisting, she instead asked what I want and before I could engage her she left me standing by the counter and proceeded to her office at the back.
Her collegues called her back but she told me she is busy and when I asked for her name so that I could address my concern with the owner she refused and never came out of her office.
I left without ordering and I won't order there again.
She has a bad attitude.
