Just purchased a QLED TV and a home use hair clipper. Both products work exactly as advertised. Good value for money and good overall service and delivery.

On Black Friday this year I purchased 10 buckets of 10KG HTH Chlorine from Pick and Pay online. The items cost was indicated at R239 per bucket. After delivery, I realised that I was charged R339 per bucket. I do recognise that I actually paid the money and the fault is somewhat mine. The above numbers are easy to transpose. I certainly expect that the online system compiling the order would be able to do math correctly. The same day of the delivery, (four days later) I called the help line to find out what could be done. The answer was that the difference would be refunded. 5 calls and 21 days later, I still have no refund. The only answer I get is that the online department is not responding. Can someone at P&P PLEASE do something about this dismal service?
<p>I have been a client of D&D Tactical armed security response for the last three years. I have had at least three false alarms per week. D&D have always called within 30 seconds to check. I really needed them to respond three times when there was a real need for armed response. they were there every time. THANK YOU D&D.</p>
<p>Six weeks ago I attempted to buy an AEG dishwasher from Makro’s Online Exclusive. The dishwasher in question was advertised at R5499. The Online Exclusive purchasing agreement is “Delivery of this special order may take up to 21 days” After day 16, I made 6 calls to their Online Exclusive call centre to try to find out what the problem was with my order. After 5 promises of “going to call me back within 30 minutes”, I eventually did get a call back indicating that the specific model of the AEG dishwasher was no longer available. Makro was going to offer me a Siemens dishwasher to the value of R8499 (model SN25D273EU) to make up for my inconvenience. I was quite happy with that and they delivered 6 days later. After unpacking and installing it, I found that there was no English manual on how to use it. French, German, Dutch yes but no English. I basically worked out on how to use it until such time that I could download the English version which I tried to do today. (4 days later) To my horror, I could NOT find an English version of the manual but even worse was the fact that the specific model sold for between R5099 and R5299 at Direct Deals and Find Your Deal. I have spent hundreds of thousands of Rands at Makro in the past and have received good service so I am truly disgusted in the way I have been treated in connection with this purchase. This is NOT GOOD ENOUGH from a respected retailer.</p>
Last night the windstorm blew down three trees in our area all of which took down power lines in each area. There were power cables strewn across the streets. When I saw the damage I thought that the power would be down the entire weekend. Eskom had the lines repaired by 11H30. At 15H00 another windstorm took the power down again. By 16H30 the power was back up. This TOP class service. Thank you Eskom and thank you again.<br>
