I have been selling on Yaga for about a year. There is a lot of special treatment for influencer. They have stipulations for advertising. Such as quality photos, where the editor chooses Sellers who sell creased clothing, photos taken on the floor. They request full descriptions of what you are selling. I go into deep descriptions and it takes a lot of your time. Recently I had a sale whoop whoop! I couldn't post it because Pudo was down. I was penalized for this. I contacted Yaga and I am still waiting for their response. If you are not an influencer, you can forget making sales.
I made a purchase of R5021.70 at the Stellenbosh branch on the 19th of December 2023 at 17:39. There was a problem with their card machine. I showed them on my banking app as well as the text notifying that the purchase had gone through. I phoned my bank while I was still inside the store and the consultant told me if the error was on their side (the bank) the money would have been returned back into my account. Although I had told them this they kept on telling me that the error was with my bank. I left the store feeling very annoyed and unsatisfied with how they did no effort to rectify the situation. I told them that I would be back the following morning. When I went to the store the following day, they had not made any effort to sort out what happened the previous day. I gave them a piece of my mind because they are lacking customer service quality. I spoke to my bank again, only to be reassured that the error was with Mr Price. They then, only then! Decided to phone someone, but all they could tell me was that I needed to give them my bank statements. I had spoken to my bank again in the morning and yet again they reassured me that the error is on Mr Prices side. They were scratching in ******* bins for scrunched up receipts and don't get me started on how disorganized and sloppy it is behind the counter with papers, receipts etc. laying all over the place. I did raise my voice at them because I had to rearrange my entire day around sorting this issue out and they were not making any effort from their side, customer satisfactionis a big ZERO!!! (I've worked in retail before so I do know that if the area manger came to see the branches and saw that, all hell would break loose.) So the second day comes and goes and my issue wasn't resolved. Because I needed the items I had bought were an emergency as I was having guests from Europe and needed to redecorate a room for them and Christmas just days away I was left with no other option but to pay again using our credit card! To top things off, the manager was off sick. The other employee told me that I would have to wait until the 2nd of January 2023 for the manager to get back from sick leave because she didn't know what to do. If the manager is off or sick, who deals with things such as this, overrides etc? What happened to supervisors and second in charge? I spoke to another lady from head office in Durban, she got one of the staff members on the line and we had a three way conversation. The lady in Durban asked her for the managers number, her work colleague told us that she wasn't allowed to give out those details, but the manger had already given me her number so I promptly passed it on to the lady in Durban. I threatened that I would contact Hello Peter and all other social media platforms. Then they started jumping and telling me that it would be sorted, but we are now in the SECOND week since I made the purchase, and nothing has been resolved. I was told they would contact the area manager. The manager asked me for a photo of my bank card and proof of payment. Which I am not sure if it is the right thing to do but I did anyways because I am done with MR PRICE!!! This morning all I got was a photo of the email they sent to management. I have received voice messages on Whatsapp from the manager, but I will not open and read, listen to anything from that store anymore. If someone from head office calls me, only then will I be willing to speak to anyone. I have given them enough grace to sort this out. Many others wouldn't have been as patient as I have been with them. I had to reminded her that it's now two weeks and nothing has been resolved. I am fed up listening to every excuse and promises to be reimbursed. They only make promises to buy themselves some more time for their mistakes. What if I had no other way to have paying for my items I had bought? Or needed the money for other expenses? I am completely disappointed with Mr Price all together. I was going to order online but thank goodness I didn't because my sister warned me on how slack their online store is.
Selling Italian Leather Furniture but using PU leather. I would like to warn consumers to avoid Custom Couches in Randburg. They sold us chesterfield suites and I paid them to have them custom made in Italian Leather but they used PU leather. I do not want others to fall for their lies.
