My daughter recently attended this driving school, but it was so difficult to book lessons. She had a 1 month break from driving as they had no space for her. Then she would have a week or two weeks before getting a booking again. She is a first time driver and there was no car for her to practice at home. I feel that the school should be upfront about having no openings and to stop taking the people's money knowing there's no open time slots for them and they have to wait a long time to get a booking. The office ladies never get back to you when you ask for available time and dates. This company wants the money but they don't bring their part to the table. Coming from a parent's point of view...don't book at this school. There are many others that are just as good, if not better and your money will not be wasted.
I cancelled my UPS contract with VOX as my first one broke and it was replaced with a reconditioned one. 3 months ago I cancelled it and bought my own UPS because they take days to come out and fix it. It was cancelled but then a month ago , I received a call to say that a courier company had a delivery for me. Upon opening the parcel, I saw that it was a brand new UPS but I had already bought my own and DID NOT ORDER ANOTHER ONE. The courier company then phoned me twice afterwards to say that they will be coming to pick it up but they never did. Now is it my job to run after them and ask them when they can come pick it up????? So this month I received an invoice to say that I shall be charged R699 for the UPS which I haven't even used. I don't see firstly why I must pay it and secondly why did they not come pick up the broken and new one. I advise anybody who is working from home to NOT rent a UPS from them. Rather buy your own. The amount of money that I've paid for renting it, I could've bought 3 of my own. Vox and their customer service is PATHETIC once again!
Last year I decided to rent a UPS from VOX and was told that should anything go wrong with it, they will quickly come and replace it. Not true! I have phoned, sent WhatsApp messages and 4 emails and not one person has contacted me about coming to replace the UPS. Support tells me that someone from UPS hardware will contact me....and NOTHING HAPPENS. They were very eager for the sale but now that something is wrong with it, it looks like nobody wants to deal with it. I am apparently not the only one that has had the bad customer service from them. Another neighbour said it took her 9 days for them to get back to her. So my advice is, don't rent from them!!!!
I want to say a really BIG THANK YOU to Silindile Buthelezi at KIC fridges, who not only resolved the problem I had for the past month with my fridge but also went out of her way to make sure that when the broken fridge had to be picked up, another fridge was going to be delivered immediately.. (swopped) She went way and beyond her job. Thank you so much Silindile and may you be greatly blessed:)
My daughter bought me a new fridge from Takealot which was a KIC. I live in a one bedroomed flat and this fridge makes so much noise. It pops, bangs and goes on and off so loudly that I can hear it over the cars on the N1. I reported it to KIC customer support and they asked me to make a recording of the bang sound just before it goes off. I did that and they said it doesn't sound right so they will be sending a technician out. The technician comes and decides that he is going to quick start the fridge by turning it off/on at the light switch. After a while, he tells me "You see, it's making no noise at all and did I read the booklet for it". I told him I did. He tells me it must be the gas but so far while his being here, it's made no noise. He leaves and 2 hours later, I decide to go to the fridge to fetch water and I saw that the light wasn't working. I then noticed that after he switched it off, he never switched it back on and that's why it was quiet. A guy phones me later and tells me to video tape the fridge but I must stand 1.5m away from the fridge. I told him that I won't and they must send a technician here again to look at it. They already had an audio of it. Apparently the technician said that it is normal for the KIC fridge to make so much noise. So...if you live in a small place don't buy a KIC because it sounds like a drone. Pathetic service!!
I was appalled at the way Mr Sean Jones, who is the Manager, spoke to and treated his staff. He is definitely not leadership material and the moral amongst the staff is very low. I wanted to buy tickets last week but after seeing and hearing him shout at his staff, I decided to leave. There are a lot of bad reviews about him, yet he continues to keep his job. I am sure that there are many other people looking for a managerial position, who would gladly take his place. I cannot see the business surviving if he continues working there. Number 1- he needs to be taught how to treat his staff with respect and honesty and number 2- top management must open their eyes to his real personality if they want to make a success of this business.
I have had endless problems with my fibre from SADV. For the past couple of months, I have been complaining about having no service and the internet goes down up to 12 times per day. No matter how many emails I sent, nothing was done about it. Phoning them is useless because you stay number 1 on the call line but nobody answers. So instead of coming to look at the router, they send me an Ethernet Gateway but without informing me. So I plug it into my router and the ethernet gateway cannot pick up my fibre router. The light stayed red. So I phoned them again and am still waiting for the technical support team to call me back concerning the ethernet gateway as they have to see why it cannot connect to my fibre. One problem after the next. I need fibre for my Online teaching job and the foreign countries dismiss us if we have internet issues. I have had enough of SADV now. Time to look for another service provider before I have no job.
There is an app that you can download called Grocer. They promise to deliver you groceries within 60 minutes. So on the 7th January 2021, I ordered items on this Grocery app called Local Grocer App. It is now the 9th January 2021 and I still have not received my groceries. There are no contact numbers besides an email address which does not work. I really struggle badly as a single parent with a daughter so for them not to return my money or deliver my groceries is a big issue for me, I found a support e-mail address on the app but to date, I have not even had a reply. Do not download this app or order online as I do not know if it is a scam or not but something is wrong as they have no contactable numbers This service is atrocious and they are not customer orientated.
Bottles is an app which delivers goods ordered online from Pick n Pay. When it first came out, I decided to make use of this app due to covid19. My first order was fantastic ------ perfect time management, fresh produce,etc. After that the service went down. The next time I ordered, the bread was moldy second time one of my dog's packet of food was missing, third time now, I had rotten apples which was the honey red apples and goods not delivered. Besides that, you will find that three-quarters of your goods will be out of stock. It won't state on the app like other apps do saying out of stock. You only find out afterwards. When you need to contact them there is only a chat (which can take up to 40 minutes to respond) or an email address which is a waste of time because they still haven't replied to mine. So...before you think of delivering goods from them, first think about all the money you will waste on rotten foods, goods not received and goods missing. I shall never ever order from them again. Pathetic service.
