I have eaten at this restaurant twice since it opened a few months ago. I absolutely love their food and the ambience is beautiful. The cost is slightly high, but the portion sizes are decent. I have notices however that they seem to be either understaffed or have slightly untrained waiters who do not seem to have very much enthusiasm. Overall, its worth a try if you want a fresh take on Portuguese cuisine.
This bank is completely useless and pathetic. I tried to access my online banking to transfer money and the bank blocked my access and banned me from using my card or the app. When i went to the bank to rectify this, Nobody could assist me as they were all too incompetent to advise me properly. The service was ridiculous, the ladies at the Northmead branch are incredibly rude and slow. I closed my account with them and I suggest everyone else does this.
I booked a reservation for a high tea for the 24th October three weeks prior to the day. I received a confirmatory email the day before the 24th. I arrived before the allocated time and had to wait to be seated. Once seated our waiter, Aubrey, sounded drunk and had no idea what drinks we could order. He went to check and didn't return. Nancy the manager came to us and advised us which juices were available. We ordered the granadilla and fruit ****tail. Aubrey returned with Nancy to tell us that they did not have those drinks available. When our juices arrived, it was warm. An event was taking place and the music was so loud we could not communicate with each other anymore. Busi and Mpho, another two staff members, arrived an hour later to tell us that they want to move us to the back due to the event. At this stage, I completely had enough as our food had not even arrived yet. I complained to them and told them that their service was terrible as this was a celebration for my mothers birthday and the whole day had now been ruined because of terrible service. We were moved to another table and Patrick the head manager came to apologise to us for the terrible service. I explained that an apology will obviously not be good enough as I was paying R500 for this high tea so I expected the best service. What disgusted me further was that my mother mentioned that I am a lawyer and she is a teacher and Patrick then said that if he knew he was hosting professional individuals he would have paid more attention to us. This is disgusting management as it shouldn't matter who we are, we should be treated equal to every other guest. I am unbelievably disappointed with my experience and I will be sure to advertise and share my disgust on as many platforms as I can. I have never had an experience such as this in my whole life. We will obviously never be going back, to emperors or to Aurelia. The food was sub par as well, not worth the money. The staff is incompetent and clearly not suited for this job. Find new staff.
I placed an order at the mcdonalds in Benoni at the Kit-Kat centre. I ordered 10 chicken nuggets which is stipulated comes with 2 dips. I ordered an extra dip at an additional cost. I placed my order at 16:00 and their system did not show that my order was being prepared or was in transit. I only received my order at 18:45 and they only gave me 4 nuggets and no dips at all. I have also not received a refund or coupon. I have tried to contact them several times but to no avail. I will never order from them again and have advised everyone to refrain from ordering there again.
The entire Rynsoord area has not been receiving wifi due to Telkom's inefficiency and they are not fixing or responding to the problem even after numerous complaints. This problem has already lasted more than a week already and it is the holidays now and this is a time when we need wifi.
