Marinado - don’t do it to yourself or your loved ones!
Ordered a takeaway through Uber eats and half my order did not arrive. I had dinner guests that I had ordered for and only half could eat. When I phoned in I was told they were too busy to finish my order and to speak to me so they would see about a manager calling me back when he had time. I was horrified to say the least! They should rather not be on platforms they are not able to service and furthermore, need to learn a great deal about customer service and complaint management. They had the opportunity to turn my entire ugly ordeal with this place around, and instead gave me unacceptable excuses and terrible service. As for the food that did arrive 🤢 I will leave the food review though for another day

Lousy chow
Not a very pleasant last few experiences. Food was terrible, waited too long for the terrible food, tables and chairs are always sticky, sushi took about 45min to reach our table. The standard of your food is horrifically low. I will not be dining at your restaurant for a very long time to come.

Lousy chow
Not a very pleasant last few experiences. Food was terrible, waited too long for the terrible food, tables and chairs are always sticky, sushi took about 45min to reach our table. The standard of your food is horrifically low. I will not be dining at your restaurant for a very long time to come.

This restaurant is very unhygienic the kitchen is filthy. The health inspector wanted to shut the kitchen down last week because of the state that it’s in. They treat their staff badly such as under paying them and over working them, their staff work up to 14 hours a day with R6 an hour. When staff question these things as they are illegal and unfair labour practices they are fired. This place is disgusting and run by ***s are only give a **** about themselves.

SES PIT FOR DISEASE AND FOOD POISONING
The only other review so far speaks of the staff not being enthusiastic....this is because the staff are mistreated, over worked and under paid. The staff are forced to work 15 hour days, 6 days a week for a measly R9/hour. The waiters are expected to wash dishes over and above serving the customers and then the restaurant has the cheek to take 10% of the waiters tips to cover the restaurants bank charges. This "establishment" has no morals and practices disgustingly unethical business practices. Added to this, the health inspector has been there twice in the last two weeks and wanted to shut the place down because of the state of the kitchen.....WOULDNT EAT THERE IF YOU PAID ME. DISGUSTING ***S THAT RUN THE PLACE

MARINADO - GREAT PORTUGUESE CUISINE
I have eaten at this restaurant twice since it opened a few months ago. I absolutely love their food and the ambience is beautiful. The cost is slightly high, but the portion sizes are decent. I have notices however that they seem to be either understaffed or have slightly untrained waiters who do not seem to have very much enthusiasm. Overall, its worth a try if you want a fresh take on Portuguese cuisine.
