This company are misrepresenting themselves as being South African and based in Durban. You realise something is wrong when you pay, and another amount comes off your account as well for the "international payment fee". They are in fact based in China - but you will only find that out should you have an issue with your order and want to return the item that you ordered. Then you will be told you have to pay the courier cost to China, and that you must have a tracking number "as they will not refund lost items" - ie. you will not get your money back. DO NOT BUY OFF THIS WEBSITE, it is a ****.
We have been using Millstock to buy our cars since 2010, and they have never disappointed. Louis, the owner, listens to what you are looking for, suggests a car and a long test drive, and is always spot on in terms of what will suit you and what you need. He gives a good trade in price and a fair price for your new car, and the service does not stop there. If your car needs a service / repairs / wheel alignment etc, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Millstock organises it, picks your car up, leaves you with a loan car, and basically takes all the effort and fuss out of dealing with other dealerships and panel beaters etc. It doesn't matter who you are dealing with at Millstock, the service is excellent!
The worst customer service, I will never order from the Beauty Bag again. I have emailed and emailed them, as has my daughter - minimal response and no help at all. She ordered 2 Sol de Janeiro products from them on the 27th November 2023, was emailed and told her products would be delivered "in 5 to 7 working days". One product was delivered 6 weeks later, the other is still missing. Apparently the courier they use "was hijacked and the parcel was lost". I don't care what the story is now, 2 months later. I want a refund, but can get no email response from them now to make this happen.
DO NOT ORDER anything off the website, www.vejasneakerssouthafrica.co.za. It is a very impressive website, easy to think you are really ordering something from Veja. However, more money than you are invoiced for is taken off your card / account "due to uncertain exchange rates", and then you are fed one nonsense response after the next to your emails. Basically this is NOT Veja, but a company based in China that is very happy to take your money, but never delivers the goods. After more than two months I have now been told that the parcel cannot be found, but "if I agree, they will offer me a 35% refund because of customer feelings". A total ****, do not be fooled by the amazing website!
This is possibly the worst service I have ever received. I ordered two lounge chairs online from The Inner Circle (on the recommendation of an interior designer) on the 23rd May 2023, and had to pay the full amount for the two chairs immediately for the order to be processed. I received a confirmation email stating that the chairs would be delivered by the 20th June at the latest. And then I heard nothing for weeks on end. My phone calls went to a number that goes straight to an answering service service, to which noone ever replies. My emails were left answered for days at a time. The owner of the company, Ashley, only responded to me once I had contacted my bank to lay a claim of ***** - sending me **** tracking details which showed that the chairs were simply never picked up, and then the courier was cancelled. Eventually, ONE chair was delivered on the 11th July - with Ashley responding that the other chair had been delivered to an incorrect address, and also damaged in the process. She promised to immediately make another chair and courier it to me, and then again simply stopped responding to all my enquiries. My bank eventually told me to go to SAPS and lay a charge of ***** against Ashley - and again, only when I notified her of my intention to do so, did she placate me by once again sending **** tracking details which were eventually cancelled. My email thread trying to communicate with Ashley totals over thirty emails trying to ascertain when the final chair would be delivered. It was delivered, broken, four days ago on the 21st August - three months after I had placed the order. I have once again tried to call and emailed Ashely three times since Monday notifying her of the broken chair delivery, and have to date not heard anything back. I am now sitting with two lounge chairs that cost me R10 500 to purchase, one of which is unusable and the other useless in our lounge standing alone. DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THE INNER CIRCLE FURNITURE company, unless you would like to be ********** and invite a huge amount of unnecessary stress into your life.
I received a gift from my husband of a Pandora necklace and earrings. The set cost R2 000 - the Pandora store in Cavendish said that even though my husband bought the set online, they would only refund me R1 170, as they refused to take back the brand new and unworn earrings. Furthermore, they can only give me cash (despite the fact that my husband paid with a card), which I was told I would have to wait for as they have to make the R1 170 in cash from sales. It has now been two months, and despite me calling and physically going into the store three times, they never have cash to refund me. Their line is that they are "doing me a courtesy and I should be patient!" At what point does this customer service become unacceptable?

We hired a Cape Town based building company called WHC to renovate our house in Rondebosch. I posted a review of the builder, Mr Lee Petersen's work in December 2015, detailing the stress we went through as a result of his tardiness and the poor quality of his work. (It took him a year to "finish" the renovation that he told us would take a maximum of 5.5 months). Unfortunately he is still not finished and the renovation cannot currently be signed off by the council!

Lee started the renovation in April 2014 - to this day we have not received a plumbing or glazing certificate from him, despite over 100 calls / emails / messages to him (yes really). Furthermore, the poor quality of WHC's work, has resulted in us spending almost R140 000 to have our concrete floors and deck redone, as well as having to pay someone to finish the snag list and repair the roof. This amount is set to increase now, as the slab is cracking and the new roof has once again started leaking with the Winter rains, exposing the rush patch job that Lee did on the slab. (He simply poured bitumen all over it and told us that it was now waterproofed). We also have to pay a plumber and windows company to come in and inspect the plumbing and glazing done by Mr. Petersen and his contractors - any necessary repairs and the issuing of the remaining certificates, will be a further expense for us.

I cannot recommend strongly enough that you DO NOT use WHC for any building work. I have emails, texts and photos to support all that I have said in this review and the one I wrote previously. Please contact me if you are even considering using WHC for any building work or renovations!

WHC started our home extension and renovation on 15th April 2014, and we were told by the owner, Mr. Lee Peterson, that it would take a maximum of 5.5 months. To date, we are sitting with a leaking roof slab, leaking windows, and numerous other faults (caused by shoddy workmanship), that I have been quoted R130 000 in total to fix. I have called him, emailed, texted, and WhatsApped him numerous times on a daily basis. He either does not respond, or promises to sort everything out on a certain date - then doesn't arrive, or sends a worker who doesn't do much. He also makes excuses constantly: in the last 19 months, he has broken his wrist
