I called MetroFibre on the 1st of February 2024 to take a wifi package with them and they came to install the router on the 3rd of February 2024, I was told that I was only going to be connected within 48 hours. I waited then on the evening of the 5th of February 2024, I noticed that there was connectivity but it kept on dropping every 15 minutes. I called Metrofibre on the 6th of February 2024 and received a ticket but I have been following everyday since the 6th of February 2024 with no assistance. I keep on getting emails from their support team saying that I must reboot my router and let them know if the issue persists. I let them know and made other calls but no one is helping. I've spoken to over 20 people in the past week with no assistance. I have even asked for a technician to come to my place to check what the issue is cause I have not had proper connection since the router was installed, still they have not sent anyone.I have resorted to switching to another service provider. I know Metrofibre will call me when they want payment at the end of the month and I will not pay a cent as I've wasted enough airtime calling them with no help. They can come and fetch their nonsense router, I'm not paying a cent. MetroFibre is the worst.
I contact Inge Bohm from MT developments looking for a 1 bedroom to rent. I signed the lease and paid my deposit and rent. The day before I moved in the unit she tells me 30 minutes before (sends me a message at 14:30 for appointment at 15:00) that I have to come and do an inspection at the property and she'll hand over the keys to me, I was surprised because she didn't tell me this in advance and I was at work and couldn't leave work suddenly to get to Joburg on time, I work in Pretoria by the way. We then arranged that we will do the property inspection on the day that I move in which is the 1st of February 2024 at 14:00. I arrive at the property exactly at 14:00 and she tells me to wait for her outside her office, I wait 25 minutes for her and she doesn't even apologise for being late and ignores me when I complain. We get to the unit and the unit is dirty but Inge gaslights me and insists that the unit was cleaned the day before, I let her know in no uncertain terms that I am not a fool and I can see that the unit has not been cleaned. Not once did she apologize for any of this. I had to get and pay my own helper to clean the unit before my furniture was moved in. All I'm going to say is that Inge Bohm at MT developments has no respect for people and highly inconsiderate. I'm currently looking to buy a property and I'll definitely not buy from MT developments, the agents are rude and ******.
I stay in one of the units at Greenlee Estate in Linbro Park. On the morning of the 16th of December 2023 I left to go on holiday. Upon my arrival back on the night of the 19th of December 2023 , I found that my door and security gate had been unlocked and there was no sign of forced entry. This was very strange as I am 100% sure that I locked both doors when I left. I discovered that my TV ,work laptop, UPS and Smeg appliances had been ******. I reported the incident to the police, security guards at the estate and to the estate manager. On 20 December 2023 I requested the CCTV footage to both entrances to my block. Please note that there are visible cameras on both entrances to the block that I stay at. After various follow ups with the estate manager at Greenlee, I only received the CCTV footage a month and one week later (24 January 2024) and it was footage showing only the one entrance to the block. I asked the estate manager why he did not provide me with the CCTV footage of the other entrance to my block as the ***** could've used the other entrance and he simply said "this is the only angle they had. There is no other footage it's all we have". I refuse to believe that the other camera is put there for decoration. This shows that Greenlee Estate is not only unsafe but also the Balwin staff does not bother to expediously and effectively assist the residents in situations where they should assist to fight crime in the estate. I have resorted to selling my unit at Greenlee Estate and moving out because of this experience. I therefore would not advise anyone to buy property or even rent at Greenlee Estate. DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
I have had a Vodacom contract for the past three years. I have never upgraded my contract since then. Yesterday I called Vodacom to cancel my contract and they told me that someone had called their office last month to upgrade the contract, as mentioned I have never upgraded my contract and clearly this is fraud which is not a first occurrence. In 2017 when I first signed up for my Vodacom contract in store, I submitted all my personal documents, my bank account was later debited with R1000 by MTN, common sense says someone from the Vodacom store stole my personal documents and used them to get a contract at MTN cause it was the only place it had submitted by personal documents and it was the only service provider I had a contract with and in addition this fraud happened straight after I submitted my documents to the Vodacom store and I have never lost any personal document. Now yesterday when I called Vodacom to cancel my contract I was told someone called in last month to upgrade the contract, which clearly was not me as I was contemplating canceling my Vodacom contract for months now. Vodacom please investigate who upgraded my contract without my permission, this is not a first fraud experience with your company as mentioned, I am highly disappointed and do not want to continue with my contract with you now or in future. I am tired with this Nonsense your call Centre is also nonsense it took me two weeks to get to speak to someone, I always had to hold for more than 5 minutes. I want this contract cancelled

I bought a new phone last week Monday from Cell C at the Woodmead branch. I was told that the sim card will be activated within 24 hours and until now (7dyas later) the sim has not been activated, this is the second time this is happening in a space of 6 months. I have spoken to numerous consultants over the phone who have promised to get back to me but never did. My phone cannot operate without the sim being activated and as a result I'm losing business and important phone calls. Cell C consultants are not doing their job, they promise but never deliver.
