What a disgraceful company. Upgraded my home router to a package that doesn't exist in my area when I changed from a month to month agreement to a one year contract despite confirming the package was exactly the same. Then when I pointed it out they refused to cancel the contract even though I was well within the cooling off period despite their staff member initially telling me it was my right.
I had my phone stolen on Tuesday 8 March 2022. I went straight to the MTN Florida Road branch in Durban to get advice and they suggested I do a sim swop but couldn’t do it then because of loadshedding. Went back there the following day 9 March 2022 and they then told me my account was in arrears and my sim was blocked so I couldn’t do a swop. Knowing my account was up to date I could not get an accurate answer as to why it reflected such on the system. I paid reluctantly and then they told me it would take an hour to clear the block and I must just go to any MTN store because I don’t live near them. I have been to 6 different stores trying to get this sorted out and nothing has been done. I run everything off my phone and cannot afford to be without a SIM card for that number because all my online banking is linked to it as well as many other programs I use for business. I cannot understand why I cannot get this issue resolved whilst my account is now in credit.
They installed my fiber line on Tuesday. 4 days later no one can tell me what the problem is. Still without fiber. Though this was the way to go but clearly not.
I deposited money into their Easy Equities account and then email proof as required. No one responds. Send a complaint, get told that money will reflect in 48 hours and I should send my reference number which I did when I sent through the original proof of payment and as the payment reference. Still no money reflects as 48 hours has come and gone. No one acknowledges your email when you send proof of payment, no communication whatsoever. We send money to these people in the confidence that it will be safe, however they don't even acknowledge receiving an email. Makes the client feel like their money has disappeared. Terrible service and I havent even started trading.
Satrix has to be the worst investment portal out there. Their website is so outdated, value of investment is never live so you never know where you stand on a day to day basis. Based on usability I honestly dont care what returns they offer, they need to update their technology. Huge disappointment.
From day 1 after having an accident Outsurance have moved heaven and earth to delay paying out the claim. First the person who received my initial claim went on leave so I had to start over. No one told me, only found out when i called. Then I was told that there is no record of the inspection being done which Glassfit doesn't keep a record of (A manoevour to avoid payiong claims), luckily I kept a copy. Finally my claim is approved but wait! No payment. I called, was told they will call back, never did. Called again and then I am told that the panelbeater is delaying the whole process. Call panel beater and he says he has provided everything. Snakes in the grass I tell you. Delay, delay, delay anything to not pay.
