I stumbled across a mention of Hohm on a news site and googled them... I was impressed that their website immediately spat out indicative pricing for the Solar installation that you specify - while many installers share their installations on social media, not many offer indicative pricing up front. From the first online meeting with James and his subsequent proposal, through the co-ordination and correspondence with Devania and the Installation, the process was smooth and hassle free. The installers, Shotech, were top-notch and probably the most polite crowd I've ever dealt with. Kudos and thanks to all.
Super quick processing and delivery - top notch retailer!
Thought it might be 3rd time lucky with my delivery, but no... Why do you keep changing the delivery address supplied, to a non-existent address in Morningside? I've confirmed the address on file with Makro, but every-time I'm told that delivery is scheduled, the address has been changed by Wumdrop. After discovering that the address they've thumb sucked doesn't exist, the driver returns the order and we start the process again. Useless.
If you're reading this, just scroll a bit and see the reviews for Takealot over the last couple of weeks... Then don't use them. Seriously, check the number of complaints they've racked up in 2 weeks. I've been using them since they were called Take2, but they won't see any more business from me. Abysmal service. Instead of 2 good bottles of wine, they delivered a cheap bottle of Whisky. I logged the return and after waiting a week, was told their stock check confirmed their mistake. Another few days wait and they add a credit for 1 bottle of wine. I've been trying to query why someone decided that they feel entitled to keep the money that I paid for nothing in return, but it's impossible to get hold of anybody. Every time that somebody promises to investigate, they simply send an email confirming that the credit has been applied for 1 item. How many times do I have to point out that you failed to deliver 2 items?
How ironic that after waiting for more than a month for the promised contact I lodged a complaint that Telkom uses a copy-paste response to complaints without ever doing anything. Their response? A copy-paste more than a week ago promising to make contact.<br> <br> er.... still waiting...<br> <br> It's taken more than 3 months, in excess of 14 faults logged, 2 complaints on Hellopeter and still nothing has been done except close the faults. Telkom is a joke.<br> <br> ref: SM189210
After logging a fault more than a dozen times I eventually reported a complaint on Hello Peter.<br> The response from Telkom Social Media was \...your query is being attended to and our technical consultants will be in touch.<br> <br> Your Reference: SM189210\"<br> <br> It's been over a month and nobody has been in touch and my synch speed is still hard set to 6398. <br> <br> Just like their call centre, looks like TSM send a copy paste response and close the call without actually doing anything. How many customers are they going to lose to FTTH with an attitude like this?<br> "
For 2 years my adsl was (almost) flawless. From November my synch speeds marched gradually downwards from 10mbps to 2mbps over a 2 week period. Since then I've logged in excess of 14 faults online and with the call centre. Each time the call was closed with nothing being done. The result is that I now synch at somewhere between 4 and 6mbps but every second day local latency exceeds 2400ms (Fourways to Rosebank) and my download speeds are between 0.04mbps and 4mbps (no that's not a typo, my old \mweb big black box"was 15 x faster thatn Telkom's fastest dsl package when it goes pear-shaped). Once I even got to speak to somebody from the adsl support team who promised they'd sort it out"
