I bought my watch from this company, and when I took it in for repair over a month ago, my experience has been extremely disappointing. The company provides no feedback or updates about the repair process. Every time I call, I’m told they will call me back, but they never do. The staff has been rude on multiple occasions. I was even told that the lady who assisted me is off, and there’s nothing they can do until she returns. They falsely claimed I brought the watch in 10 days ago, even though I provided the correct date. Additionally, they claimed they didn’t have my phone number, which is untrue since they took my contact details twice - once during the purchase and again when I brought the watch in for repairs. Today, when I called, the person I spoke to said their phone battery was low and that they would call me back after charging it. That call never came—it felt like they were just waiting for closing time. I also feel like they outsourced the repair far too late, as though they simply didn’t care about my watch. As of now, I still don’t have it back, and I haven’t received any update about its status. It has been with them for over a month, and this lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable.
Efficient service! Thanks for your assistance Nobantu.
FNB is one of the best banks, I don't know what happened this time around. I opened a 32 Day Flexi Notice savings account years back. I placed a notice 34 days back, so I expected the money 2 days back, but got nothing and thought let me give them some time maybe they having technical issues. Few minutes ago, I called them and he said "the notice didn't reflect on our system, which means you didn't confirm the withdrawal notice". I have placed a withdrawal notice before, I know the confirm button (and surely everyone else does ) - all transactions need to be confirmed on their app/internet banking (we know that and do that). He tells me that I should find the in-app message that I got when I placed the withdrawal notice - I looked for it, couldn't find it because their app only showed messages from the previous 7 days (wow, find a message from 34 days back?). I told him that, he said "Ok that is the issue with the app", now he wants to forward me to the app department (hello, I'm not reporting an app bug, I need the money that I saved in my check account - that's all). To cut the long story short, he said the only options that I have are to 1) wait another 32 days (wow - now changing to a "64 Day" Flexi Notice) or 2) withdraw the money now with penalty fees - basically saying they are taking a cut from my savings even though I have placed a notice 34 days back (a notice that he claims it's not there). I repeat, FNB is one of the best banks, they even educate you on how to prevent being scammed. Place a withdrawal notice. Wait for 32 days. After the notice day, you realise the money has not been transferred to your cheque account. You call them and they (make the notice disappear or) claim that they can't see the notice so that you either 1) place it again and wait another 32 days - giving them more days to make money off from your savings or 2) let them take a cut from your money - unwillingly giving them a share of your savings. Either way it's a win win for them - you have no choice. Doesn't this sound like a SCAM? Well, I guess I have just been scammed - I just let them close my savings account on the spot and take their cut because I really needed the money today - I couldn't wait another 32 days. FNB team, can you please also educate others with this type of SCAM?
I bought airtime this afternoon of R100 from my standard bank account on mobile app. Instead of selecting Vodacom airtime i wrongly chose Virgin Mobile airtime and correctly entered my Vodacom number. I have called my bank to inform them and they have advised me to contact Virgin Mobile. The Virgin Mobile guys said they were going to get back to me after 30 minutes, but I've been waiting for almost 3 hours and nothing until now.
