I am disgusted by Pick 'n Pay Liquor Lemon tree. Every week they send us WhatsApp adverti*****ts. And when you go there, the price are above what is being advertised as being on special. Yesterday I received their special leaflet via whatsapp stating that Savanna dry cider 500ml X 24 can are on special selling for R245. 00 a case for today only. I drove there travelling +_ 30km radius and only to be told 'the price is only for 12, we are waiting for the management to print an apology note' mind you it's 8 o'clock in the morning, I am probably the first customer in the shop. I asked to see a manager and the guy I was talking to by the name of Garry said he is the manager and I must just forget about. I don't think that us as consumers should be fooled by retailers so that we can go to their shops and only to be told 'sorry we cannot help you, it's your loss that you drove all the way here' I want to know if consumer Act does not cover customer when a retailer has given a price on an item and then to realize later that they made a mistake? Could they sell it to me at the advertised price? I have proof of their ad if needed. Kindly assist me as a customer. Pick 'n pay in Lemon tree is no longer the same since change of ownership
I would like to compliment home affairs Alberton for their excellent services. Despite having long queues and shortage of staff their service was efficient and of high quality. Keep up the great service guys from the security guards at the entrance to the cashiers, you all do your work with smiles, I have never seen that before. I am impressed and proud to be an Alberton community member.
Rain internet service providers is nonsense. I was using 4G sim, I had a problem with my router, I had to stop using the sim for 2-3 months and when I eventually decided to upgrade to 5G so that I can have a router, I was told to pay for the 4G at R529 (they added interest from R479) after paying the requested amount I was told that I have to pay R479 for the 5G upfront, which I did all these on the 6th September 2021. I got home and I inserted the 4G sim in my cellphone and till today it still has no network. On the 8th of September I received the router and the simcard for the 5G, I was then told to wait 2 hours for connectivity to take place after 2 hours it was said that I should wait for 2 to 24 hours. After 24 hours on the 9th I was told that the simcard has a problem. A new sim card was delivered on the 10th. When inserted the sim card, it did not have any network when I phoned the consultant I was told to wait 2 to 24 hours for sim swap. Till to this day, they cannot assist. I would not recommend anyone to use this company, it's fake, it has poor service and they don't have the decency to tell the truth that they don't know their work. Big chancers
I had a cellphone contract with Vodacom for 22months. <br> due to my financial situation, I phoned them on the 30th of December 2015 to request a settlement fee for my acc. My contract was expiring if Feb 2016. They quoted me on the phone and sent me an email as well. I was quoted 387.47 (my monthly fee was R269) The quotation was valid for 7 days.<br> I paid that amount the next day 31 Dec and emailed everything back to them the same day.<br> <br> on the 3rd of Jan, a Debit order went off. I phoned them, they explained that the amount deducted was for December invoice and that it was not included on the quotation. I was told that my account has been closed and they will be no more deduction.<br> <br> Today when I got home I was surprised to get a statement for January that will be deducted in February.<br> When I contacted them, Their excuse was that they were closed on the 1st, 02 and 3rd. Yes, they received my papers on the 31st but closed the account on the 4th (mara, is that my fault? The cancellation quotation was valid for 7 days including the 1st,2,3 and 4th) I settled the account in one day but still have to pay them till the end of the contract term. <br> something must be done.
